is this game enjoyd more as female protag or male? some games are just more fun as one than the other

I complained about this before but playing as a straight guy almost feels like a trap option and the expected way to play is as a girl or a gay twink. For example the "Roommate's Partner" storyline doesn't really make sense otherwise. There are also tons of events where a girl pc can do something with a male npc, but there's no gender mirrored event where a guy pc can do the same with a girl npc. The River Rat job is an example of this, where there's numerous events where a female pc can interact with male customers, but as a male pc there's no way to do anything with female waitresses. It's interesting how the dev apparently felt bad about the "dick roulette" frat game not being "inclusive" enough but doesn't seem at all worried about treating players who want to play as a dominant straight male character as second class citizens.

In my opinion, this introductory tour is one of the best written part in the game, full of lust and seduction. The temptation is right in front of you and yet so out of reach...
The next best scene is during the streaking scene, when you are wandering the campus under the cover of the night, naked, and bump into another NPC... also naked and sparks fly...

I see little trouble implementing that into this game, because there's already a town. When the protag gives birth they have to move off campus and live in town. This means paying rent and possibly hiring a nanny, so more reasons to work some sort of job. As for how much content to set up for the children, I assume this game takes place in a four year period, ending when you finish school. That's perfect. You only need content for children up to four years old. Easy peasy. The first year is dedicated to standard baby stuff, breast feeding, taking them on walks in a stroller, playing peek-a-boo, sing them to sleep, baby talk to them. Second year includes potty training, learning to walk, teaching to talk, reading them books, giving them baths. Year 3 can involve a daycare, the kid drawing, taking them to the park, etc. Heading into year four would be much the same, and you can talk to your kid. It's pretty easy to make simple content for small children. It's only when you want to turn them into full adult npcs that you can get romantic with that I find things become complicated, but that's just me.

Edit2: Fuck, my mind is already setting up the UI. Imagining something that combines the current npc interface with what I've seen of babies in DoL.
Chat (based on age, could be baby talk, could be teaching to talk, could be an actual conversation)
Feed (based on age, breast feeding, bottle feeding, baby food, make a meal)
Play (based on age, could include peek-a-boo, drawing, kiddie pool, etc)
Bathe (obvious, if child is dirty, if you include events that make child dirty (potty training gone wrong))
Read (probably need to buy kid books to use this)
Sing (a lullaby, best used for when child is upset or you want to lull them to sleep)
Walk (is as said, could include walks to the park)
Nanny/Daycare (because you can't always be with them)
Edit3: Actually, it's probably easiest just to do a nanny, that way you don't need to create an inworld daycare. Daycare is for overachieving devs, lol. Also, nanny=opportunity to bang the babysitter.
Edit4: Nanny should probably be in the phone, not the child interface. Maybe initially discovered online.

Even with a 4x multiplier, it takes a very long game to find out for yourself.

The game really relies a lot on RNG to progress events which is kind of annoying. I am stuck on the second event for the Porn Addict, so I feel your pain. Seen that one so many times and no clarity on what to do for the third to happen.

I honestly think that this is a vision that's simply not compatible with what the dev wants to make? This is first and foremost a game about college. The actual managing of finances, grades and sports participation takes up as much gameplay time as the sex. I'm sure the dev will try to include as many of the usual college sex tropes as possible, we already have the frat parties and get the frats/sororities themselves, we have sports team shenanigans, and just casual hookups among students of course. Plus sexy times with professors and a harasser, an admirer, a plot with your high school friend who went to the same college, problems/opportunities with your roommate and their partner, going into town to hook up with the townies, themed parties like Halloween with associated hookups, etc.

I think one central theme of all of that is that it's all very casual. You can have a committed relationship, but even there the game focuses more on the opportunities to cheat or have an open relationship.

Having a horde of baby mamas and babies to take care of feels pretty far away from the core of the game. At least to me.

There's of course nothing wrong with wanting this, but I'd temper my expectations if I were you.

Saying you're a second class citizen because the game isn't catered mainly to you is... a statement one can make.

Some content is certainly tailored more towards girls or sub players. But if you use "traditional sports team genders", going on the football club and getting frisky with the cheerleaders after a win is pretty tailored to straight guys, even dominant ones. You can deny the quarterback and still get on the team, it just takes a bit longer.

It's not like there's no content for dominant straight guys. The classroom harasser can be made your bitch after all.

The roommate's partner storyline can imho be played either through the submissive route, which we both don't like. Or you go the disinhibition route, showing them that you're just as freaky and confident as they are. And I wouldn't be surprised if we get an option to turn the table on them later in the development, same as the harasser.

If you look in the game code there is overwhelmingly more content that triggers if your character has tits than if you have a dick, or exhibitionist content compared to voyeuristic content. Would it really be that much more effort to make even one event where your character can go to the topless bar as a customer and perv on the waitresses when there's already over a dozen for playing as the waitress and getting creeped on by customers? If the game was up front about what kind of characters were actually supported I would just accept that I'm not the target audience and move on, but the way it gives you a hundred different combinations of body parts and pronouns and shit only for the one I want to play to be left in the dust frustrates me in the same way as those Pathfinder rpgs that have a million classes but only 3 of them are actually viable. Plus the way the developer keeps talking about "inclusivity" and "representation" while clearly favoring one type of character feels a little hypocritical.

I had played a dominant masc guy in my first playthrough and there is enough content to make this a fun and enjoyable game.

Maybe a femme character gets more content in this game right now, but so what? The game is still being developed. Everyone has a preference, including the dev and time is limited, so he can only focus on one thing at a time and add other stuff later.

Playing as a dominant and masc PC is my preference and I too hope for more stuff on this side of the game. But I don’t mind checking what a femme character is like in the game… I think…

I have not tried the femme side of the game yet and is now waiting for the coming update to try a femme… guy or girl or trans for my 2nd play through… just to see what the other side feels like.

I think if I open my mind, I get double the fun and be able to enjoy the game fully from both side? Don't look at the codes to compare how much fun you can get, play the game and enjoy what is offered!

If you feel like gaming it a bit go into options and there's a story progression tab I think it's called. There will be sliders for river rat job and your vibe. Crank that up to 4 and you're in business. It will progression quickly.

I play as a gay sub in game.. You want to talk about what/how you're "expected to play" .. I'm *constantly* given the option to look up the skirt, or down the blouse of women.. doing the porn watching in the lounge, I get surrounded by women with the option to "lend a hand."
Doing the settings to get as few straight/bi NPCs, using the sliders to give gays/lesbians the majority of the population.. and it's STILL filled with bi NPCs..

Sorry but.. as an OLD gay man.. hearing straight guys complain that they're being treated as "second class citizens" in a freaking GAME.. where gays where I live are looking at losing their rights. In our *real* lives. Try having some perspective, my guy.

What kind of player are you? HTML saves are only modded "so far" in my experience (which, tbh, isn't a lot). I do some minor text changes, due to my kinks of wanting to be more harshly dominated than the game allows for. I also created my own seed to reflect this, to give me more opportunities to have a more desired play-through.

To actually make real changes you do need the mods, and those cover a gambit of things.. so. Sincerely.. it'd behoove you to join the modding discord so you can get the mods that reflect your play style.. *AND* be able to keep updated when a new base game update is released that breaks those mods.

If you have experience with editing html.. *and* if you have a similar play style, you can add this to the other seeds. If it's not your cup of tea, you can switch around the inclinations/reminclinations to better reflect your preferences. Keep in mind that with the seeds, the changes you make will be added to all NPCs (except the specials i.e., The Best Friend/The Roommate, etc), so anyone else you come across will have to be edited when you encounter them. So, like, for me... the women are all dominant.. and that's NOT what I'm looking for... LOL

When did you adjust the parameters using save editor? Is it before the seed generates, before you choose your best friend, or somewhere else? Or did you went the hard way as me and manually change attractions for 500 individuals?
