Speaking of mods, i tried a date and hangout anytime mod, but the original one is outdated.
Luckily i did a search a few weeks later and found the updated version by mellowben
Now if only someone can edit or make a new a orgasm mod so that NPC will be happy as long as MC orgasm once... this mod is nice, but is really bad for a quickie between classes when NPC can only be satisfied with endless orgasm

There is a lot more mods in the discord, just make sure to get the ones that is update to current version and understand the difference between safe for vanilla or not.
Some times a mod will affect save game. This mean when the game gets updated, the mod may fail or worst render the save game unift for the new version of the game.
You have wait for the mods to get updated or stick to the older version of the game with the mod.
Back up your save game or keep 2 versions of the game, one is for modded and another without.

bean chimes in once in a while too, but he keeps his mod on the modding discord. maybe he's waiting until they're 100% done before posting them anywhere else?

lk's busy working on his own game so most of his mods are pretty outdated now. so basically i'm the only one from the modding discord who actively shares and keeps my mod collection updated here

i know the chinese community hosts their mods on github, but it's kinda tricky to use them properly unless you're in the discord and can ask them how to do it. they've also got their own discord server too

even for me, i don't share all of my mods here either. sometimes it's just easier to drop them on discord, and if someone runs into issues, i can troubleshoot right there since chatting on discord is way more convenient than f95

but i still like the f95 forum more since the discord forum setup is kinda junk

yeah, even for mod makers, it's tough to keep your mods organized on discord since it's not really built like a proper forum. once you switch your private server to a community server, you do get forum threads, but honestly, they're junk compared to a real forum

that's why i prefer sharing my stuff here. it's just easier to keep things clean and accessible

yeap, i totally get it, and i've got full respect for the folks who choose to keep their stuff only on the modding discord. before i joined here, i saw a lot of feedback from players saying they just can't use discord for one reason or another. and that's part of the reason why i decided to share my mods here too

Alright guys. I was trying to reinsert all of the code changes I made to the game's previous version to fit the new version but I kept running into issues so instead I made a mod patcher so that I can automatically patch and depatch the game with all my mods everytime a new update rolls around. I'm not sure if a tool like this already exists, but I'll upload the game files with the patch tool with all the mods I use.

You guys can make your own mods too if you want.

Main Modding Instructions
1. Download KittyPatcher.zip
2. Put KittyPatcher.exe and the mods folder from KittyPatcher.zip in the main folder of the game, where CourseofTemptation.html is
3. Put the mods you want in the mods folder
4. Double Click KittyPatcher.exe to add the mod(s) to the game
5. Done

Hangout At Your Dorm Mods Allows hangouts to occur at your dorm instead of the other person's.
Unrestrict Relation Qualifications Mod Allows you to bypass relationship qualifications like having to wait 28 days after breakup to get back with an ex.

KittyPatcher.exe/py
This allows you to apply any and all mods you have in your mods folder to the game in a double click.
1. Put the mods in the mods folder.
2. Double click KittyPatcher.py
After doing these two steps, the patcher works by automatically replacing code in the HTML to modify the game code.
You need the latest version of python installed for it to work.

Mods Folder
Store mods here so the patcher can patch your game.

Create Mods Simple
1. old code 1~new code 1~~old code 2~new code 2~~old code 3~new code 3
2. Name file [yourmodnamehere].mod
3. Put it in mods folder

Tips:
1. You have to make sure there is only 1 instance of the thing you're trying to replace. If you try to replace frequency: 40, with frequency: 640, thousands of instances of frequency: 40, will be changed and you'll have to delete the CourseOfTemptation.html file entirely.
2. If you're creating mods, it's best to do so in Notepad++.
3. You can also replace dialogue, but it's very tricky.
4. Try to avoid putting spaces before or after the ~ key separator.

You should also be able to modify any other Twine HTML game with this but you'd need to change the HTML name in KittyPatcher.py.

For those code enthusiasts on here, has anyone managed to edit the game to add new genders yet (I don't mean just changing the parts of current genders), and if so, how do I actually do it? As a test, I've tried defining a new intersex gender in the setup.species.human.genders section where the other genders are listed, but it doesn't seem to do anything and there's no new sliders or options when starting a new game, so I guess there's more things I need to change to make the game consider it as part of the world generation?

You can do it but there's a few other things you need to do beyond adding them to "species." Most importantly you have to change setup.Names or else generation will fail. Then if you want the game to automatically create characters with your custom gender you have to change /* world data */ and "worldgen" to either put them in the default values or add a slider for it. Then if you want the pc to be able to use it you have to change "start3" to add the option. Also if you want it to use a different text color you have to change "ColorOptions" and all of its related sections. I think there may be some other minor interactions you may have to account for but I forget exactly what they were and it will depend on the nature of what you are trying to implement.

there is threesome in the game

you can get into a poly relationship if you pick it as your starter inclination
iinm, if you didn't choose it at the start, you can still unlock it later by dating an npc who has that inclination

once you're in a poly relationship with multiple npcs, you can set up a time for the group to hang out and do stuff and things (yep, that means sex)

sex with more than one npc is kinda clunky at the moment. most of the time it's hard to tell who's doing what to who. hopefully the dev will work on it soon
