You will want to clear the party event to proceed yes. After just make sure to visit the friend in the evening and it will move forward on its own.

you got two choices (check the hint):
1. wait for a favor to be called in, or
2. keep going to the quad party on fridays
the quad party path is easier to finish, but it depends on which one you choose. once you pick it, you can't go back. have to start again
First you need to add modloader to the game. I haven't figured out how to do this myself, but there is a section in the discord channel where ready-made assemblies are posted -

I am trying to get "the favor to be called in" path. Does that mean i had to wait for Paxton to make a move? I just need to trigger stolen clothing during shower in the morning?
In my previous play i accepted the $400 from the rich kid since there seem no consequence and the quest ends here for now... but that was where i last stop my game so I didnt know what follows after that.

Will need to wait 14 days to trigger the stolen clothing..
After that need to wait BFF will call for the favor and do the all night..
Will need to talk about sex in their dorm till will appears the option to start a relationship with them..
(last part working also for the Quad party)
i am already one month in game... and have not been stolen clothing. I will shower every morning from 6~8am from now on and pray someone take my clothing...

Yes, the stolen underwear is a different event..
You can just trigger it using * after going back if not triggering after the shower..
If you go to the shower without underwear will prevent the event to have it stolen..

Like DandyMe said, you can just click Back and use the * key on your numpad to refresh. I think you also need to have someone hate you to get your clothes stolen (usually the classroom harasser or someone who's lover you've slept with).
When you hang out with your best friend, use the option available in the lobby of your dorm after 6 pm, not the kind used when talking to someone or over the phone, then Talk about sex with them.

Talk about sex appears in their dorm without the need to set up an hangout..
You just have to go in it while their RM isn't there..
... I have a habit of getting rid of the dislikes bar and make them neutral at least...
For now, all i get is roommate's boyfriend barging in shower 2x about his challenge...
This is the result for Sunday...I will try again on the next day which is Monday, if that fail, i will go make some enemies...
Will removing dislikes from harasser and admirer's admirer break their story?
Even my roommates is now 65% friendship...
At least with the * trick i can train voyeur easily at low levels...

what dandy said: you only need one person who dislikes you and then the event might happen
to make it easier, if you still have default everyday outfit, change into it when you wake up, then go take a shower on weekdays. it won't happen in saturday/sunday tho

First, I made 2 npc dislike me by insulting them, just to be sure I still have enemies, i think the harrasser is at-2
2nd I wear my one piece spandex sleepwear for shower - to reduce my lost, but in the end you can get your clothes back.
3rd I think the time frame to trigger is after 0730? - This I am uncertain. I did it once and reload to test again, both time it was after 0730.
Anyway thanks for the help

note:
this game doesn't have save file like other games, you can't save scum like in skyrim. if you reload same save file but repeat the same action, the exact same thing will happen. but if you reload the same save file but you choose to do other action, outcome might be different based on rng (and frequency + chance + event tags)
but you can reload rng by pressing * on numpad like dandy and AccidentalGadgeteer has said before

I think I need at least some enemies to unlock hate fuck inclinations - but I do keep the townies for that purpose
