Da fuck's an inaka?

Thanks for the share.
Inaka is Japanese for countryside or rural area. In this case, I am guessing they mean the sticks. Rural is probably a good bet. Machine translation (MTL) usually has a hard time with Japanese so I am not surprised by the bad translations. I wish they would at the very least add a text file to these with the original dialog so that someone could post actual translations to replace the MTL.

You can use the Sizer app from to resize RPGM games that don't come with scaling options.
Ah, I tried it once but didnt like since they scale it roughtly and the tile sprites get all messed up when moving. I dont know much about rpgm but I guess the only option would be using a plugin, but I have no idea if there exists a generic one that works for any game.

Some bad scaling is a lot better than the RPGM games stuck at 640x480 on a high res display. Native is better of course, but unless you want to decompile the game to add a scipt, and risk breaking the game, things like Sizer are your only option.

Well, this ain't a 100% save, I'm missing two gallery entries. One of them requires finding two more quiz coins (you need 38) which I honestly can't be arsed to do, and then approaching the third 'quiz daughter' (it probably was translated from 'quiz musume' which really should mean 'quiz girl/maiden', but I digress). The third 'quiz daughter' can be found by going to Ilets city, taking the free-roam ship, and going to an island to the South-West. The other missing entry is a mystery to me.
For anyone who can be bothered to continue where I wouldn't, no-encounter has been equipped and the quiz coins appear as a sparkle on the ground. Good luck!
Some loose ends: I don't know what the Mysterious Lamp is for. If you manage to figure it out, good on you. There is also an infinite maze thing at the final island found at the far North-West of the ship free-roaming area. I haven't been able to crack that one either. Also, the secret password to input in the Secret Room? Mystery to me, but it might be because it's expecting Jap characters input.

Euuuh ... no?

Since pretty much all games offer the full-screen option I've never once used one of these things. I literally can't think of any (full) game off the top of my head that I tried that didn't have that option. Though I'm sure there's the occasional exception.

The native res (mostly the artwork) ain't gonna change any which way, so the full screen thing just sizes out what's there of course, but keeps aspect ratio. So 4:3 stays like that. That of course, despite square TV's having long since gone out of fashion. :sneaky:
Though for the sprites of let's say an RPGM game I kinda think it'll probably handle it pretty correctly when full-screening (as opposed to using an external app to just stretch the small rezzed window), since it's a native RPGM feature.
Also ... the resolution of the artwork could always be of a higher res natively anyway, which will also be handled correctly (better) using the full screen feature of RPGM.

Anyway ... always gonna do better than random stretching of a tiny window to random aspect ratio's though.

The bow is a quest item, not an equippable.
Re: Scenes: Only the section at the bottom right corner where only 2 / 3 of the scenes are obtained were unlocked via the first two quiz daughters. Normal scenes 1 - 15 were all from normal progression of the story.

If anyone bothers going through the story, you'll find it's an absurdly easy RPG where most stat boosts are gained via equipment, and once you get the latest version of weapons of whatever region you're in, most battles will be over in one or two turns. The only real searching you'll need to do is just for the quiz coins, since treasure chests carry minor stat boosts or free equipment which you can easily get from the shops with a little bit of money farming.
It simplifies things, but this really just means that this game is mostly getting from point A to point B, and then progressing the story just means getting from the new point A to a new point B. As long as you don't run away from too many battles, your levels will hardly be an issue. Bosses are more of a battle of attrition than actual challenges since Mei's healing skills are plain OP. I also hope you like seeing enemy encounters because it gets truly obnoxious sometimes where you move for less than a second before you get another encounter, and the no-encounter equipment is only given to you at the very end of the game.

TL;DR: This RPG is really easy as long as you don't escape from too many battles. Get updated equipment whenever possible and you'll be fine. I hope you like going from point A to point B a lot because this RPG is essentially that. Scenes 1 - 15 are unlocked via story progression. Any other scenes are unlocked via quiz daughters or minor side quests.

Shame it's not a manual translation, but I have to show my appreciation for putting MTL in the title.
Thank You. Could save a lot of time if everyone was willing to do that.

I appreciate the fact that for once an artist decided not to give the cow girls gigantic tits simply because they're cows and they make milk. Maybe there are other examples out there but I've never seen it.
