From an in-lore perspective I would say since we are traveling worlds others could have done so as well and brought over english and influenced the local language earlier in time.
From a writing perspective this makes communication and dialogues easier for both writer and reader and it makes more sense for when the language barrier likely gets resolved rather quickly. If they can't understand each other at all you often see the yada-yada-something (spells, unexplained instant learning, fish in your ear that translates for you, etc) for them to 'suddenly' understand each other from 0 to 100 later on.
I think I like this setup more.

Played the demo.
Very nice animations, although the tummy of the characters move a lot more than I feel they should during the penetration scenes.

About the language… It’s not just some random nonsense we made up. It’s actually derived from original Sindarin, simplified through two iterations to make it more intuitive and context-friendly.
We gave it a try — it wasn’t everyone’s favorite. But who knows, we might return to it later.

Also, we’re even trying to tone down standard English a bit — trimming complex idioms and sentence structures. Just to make sarcasm, jokes, and general dialogue easier to follow for non-native speakers.

I don't get why people feel like things will suddenly become NTR. NTR fans aren't particularly in the habit of hiding it and just springing it on people, nobody does that, that's fucking weird.

If you're worried about the dev "secretly" slipping NTR, maybe go looking for their statements on the topic so you can find them explicitly saying that isn't the plan and then you know, instead of assuming they're out to cuckold you specifically in some extraordinarily and unrealistically petty plot of malice.
