Because it seems impossible to me since the two events happen in reverse order.
First the “soft” photo shoot, then the “hard” one a few days later.
In between, normally, there's the restaurant with Eric.

Yeah from what I remember they just had a lingerie shoot. The second shoot was for the new magazine because the model bailed. That's when she was asked to show her vagina and if you did then they ask for her to pose topless. That's why I thought things were backwards.

I'll have to re-download the game to see if something got messed up when it was unzipped. Or maybe there was a rare bug that happened since I carried over the original save from the previous version of the game. I'll try again without that save and see how things go this time.

To become a police officer, you need to have a karma rating of strictly above 5, or you need to have followed Isabelle into the bar (when she is talking to Gus) and then, when you go to see her a few days later at the bar, suggest that she go to the police (but in this case, a karma rating of 0 or above will suffice).

This path is not compatible with the modeling job.

You can take the waitress job at the beginning of the game. The first time you go to your apartment, you can decide to be a waitress instead of a hostess.

I think I see my confusion. I was thinking the waitress job was the one Gus was suggesting after you get fired. I didn't realize that the waitress job was the one where you work at the bar. I was thinking the first 2 jobs you can pick were called gentleman's club vs bar.

Ok so I need to flat out refuse the modeling gig when I believe Vicky brings it up or can you meet the photographer then turn him down and still get on the police path?

Hmmm, how about try to follow Isabell when she goes to meet Gus first and eavesdrop on their conversation, and then when Isabell want to talk to Emily about it, that should be appear a choice to go to police

I heard that if I get karma to above 5 then I can still go the police route. Only reason I didn't follow her is because I wanted to either hang with the sister or study. I'm love smart characters too much so I don't often skip chances to increase intelligence when I can.

Its also part of the reason I always choose wizard over sorcerer even tho I love persuasion.

I'd first check your clothing choice on the day where the police job offer happens, though. That may be the easiest way to get that extra point.

It's at noon of the last day currently in the game. The purple shirt + beige pants should give Emily 1 extra karma point, if she puts that combo in the morning. Although i'm not sure if you don't need to start a new playthrough in order to get the slightly enhanced wardrobe. As previously Emily would only have one top and bottom option.

I will add that.
You have to understand that you are only playing one path, but I have dozens of them in the process of being written with dozens of variables. Sometimes, I may think I've closed a topic, but in fact I've only closed it for 95% of the paths and there's still a loophole.

I thought that particular section felt a bit below your usual writing quality compared to the rest of the novel, but knowing you simply overlooked that branch explains everything. With a multi-branching novel, these things are bound to happen from time to time, so no worries at all, I understand. Happy to help

As for this issue of cheating with Charlotte, it's clearly a bug. I'll look into why, I suppose there's a jump that takes you to a place where you shouldn't be.
Indeed, in your case, Charlotte broke up with Liam, so you should be able to continue on the lesbian couple path without any worries.

Normally, when you quit this job, you should be offered to go out with Charlotte that evening, but that's not happening. It's been fixed for the next update.

That one I was fairly certain it was a bug and my reward is a naughty shower scene with Charlotte nice.

Furthermore, I have taken note of your comment about Emily's pure homosexuality. It's a subject I hadn't considered in those terms, leaving bisexuality more open as a basis but allowing all heterosexual content to be rejected for Emily without consequences.
However, I have taken note of your point and will see how I can make Emily a purely lesbian woman.

The mere fact that you’re even considering it already means a lot to me, but please only do it if you genuinely want to explore that side of Emily. I never want you to feel forced into writing something you have little real interest in.

This novel is your passion (or at least your creative work), and I firmly believe we should only pour our hearts into the things we truly love. If adding a lesbian path isn’t something that genuinely excites you, don’t push yourself to include it, just because I’d love it doesn’t make it worth risking your enjoyment of the project. The last thing I ever want is for this VN to start feeling like a chore to you.

That said, yes, I'm all for a "pure lesbian path" that's for sure. No question about it.

Currently, the problem is that all professions lead to paths involving heterosexuality (whether it's Emily or someone else). I'm not sure I can change that retrospectively, but I can be mindful of it in the future.
I can't tell you how yet, as I need to find a natural way to do it, but I'll try to keep it in mind.

Thank you, and please do whatever feels right to you, no worries. Honestly, personally, as long as I can make the Emily avoid dicks and drooling over men, I'll be perfectly happy. I can only talk for myself but I completely understand that you can not make the hetero and lesbian paths have same equal content and I'm completely fine with that.

I get wanting something more to come from that conversation but Conner is too much of a fuck up to ever get upset with her best friend over. He's bleeding the family dry and might be having thugs coming after them in the future. I'd like for her to tell Vic that she understands wanting to help the injured bird but she's worried that he'd pull her down with him.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't want Emily to be upset at Vicky at all. I just want her to stay far away from Conner because, as you said, he's a complete mess who will only drag her down with his idiotic schemes. Looking ahead – Ongoing improvements & future directions
With a lot of new players joining at the start of the year, I’ve received quite a bit of feedback on Chapter 2.2.
As a result, I’ve started revisiting and improving certain scenes, as well as fixing a few narrative issues that were reported.
One recurring request I’ve seen is the desire to play — if you choose to — a purely lesbian route for Emily.
Right now, that’s difficult to fully support because most jobs include heterosexual interactions by design.
That said, it’s an interesting direction, and I plan to work on this in the future, while continuing to develop the other paths in parallel.
I’ve also received a lot of feedback (without spoiling anything) about Jules and about the development of Faith’s arc.
Don’t worry — I’ve heard you loud and clear, and I already have plans for both characters
