It's not necessary. Emily also can get on this path if her karma score is high enough (6+) on that day. You can now use clothes to get 3 karma points or so, so Emily doesn't even have to be a saint for this. In fact, one of funnier options is to steal karma clothes from the store to make your MC look like enough of upstanding citizen to pass the check.
Ah there's another way. I'll try later

Yes, and even if it won't necessarily be the same interactions or outcome, she will be there.
Similarly, if you help Connor with his debts, you may end up meeting her. But again in a different way.

There's no need to sacrifice Isabelle, just advise her to go to the police. The police officer is there to provide a positive counterpart to Emily's life, and I've worked hard on that in the future.

For Jules, I had received feedback about wanting to make him a real BF, so I corrected a few things in the future. He will be able to cross paths with Emily again for a second, more positive chance.

However, there are no positive outcomes for modeling at this time, but I will take note of your comment.
In my recent new game, I play to choose VIP and modeling, in the future can the VIP host and modeling paths merge? Because they meet the same figure Vicky's father Nicholas, after an intense night with Nichols at the VIP club, the next day there's an dinner appointment and photoshoot which turn out the client is Nicholas again.

And will Vicky one day find out that Emily is having sex with her father? I curious what is her reaction if she find out about Emily and her father.

There are no choices without consequences, and a secret never stays secret forever ;)

Well, Vicky has no room to complain after she's banged what's potentially multiple members of Emily's family and talked about catching them all.:coffee:

I found a narrative bug. If you agreed to go undercover to help Isa, sometimes the event may never trigger and you may never steal the documents from Gus's office.
I will fix this for the future, but it will not be retroactive because this event can only work on day 8 (Monday of the second week).

Yes I try that, Emily never steals the document until the game end if she just became host club (maybe good karma) despite she already volunteer, but if she became VIP host mostly the event trigerred.

Basically, the event hostess (like many events in the game) does not trigger automatically, e.g., Day 4: such-and-such event, Day 5: such-and-such event, etc.
It progresses differently depending on the other choices you make.
So, if you invite Liam one evening, you may (depending on the circumstances) experience a “delay” in the progression of events.
If you combine this with not accepting the VIP section, the “document theft” event will never trigger.
I have corrected this bug (in a future update) by forcing it to trigger if Emily volunteers.

Hmm, I can understand the reasoning for stopping public posts, but still that's sad news...

#Update - Chapter 2.3 is live for Unchained Tier (Day 3 – Week 2)

Hi everyone,

Note: The update is a bit long, but I think it's worth reading :)

I’m really excited to finally share this one with you:
Chapter 2.3 is now available for Unchained tier members.

>>>>>Download it here<<<<<

This update covers the third day of Emily’s second week, and narratively… it’s a big step forward.

This is the kind of chapter where the game really starts to remember who your Emily is — what she accepted, what she refused, who she protected, who she disappointed… and what lines she has already crossed.
A day shaped by your past choices

Rather than listing features, I want to give you a sense of what kind of experience this chapter offers.

If you’re close to Charlotte, this day may hit hard — especially if you let her slide into drugs, if you argued badly in the past, or if your relationship has been strained.
If you’re a couple and you didn’t choose the trio with Liam earlier, you’ll even find a new retroactive scene added to a previous day, changing the emotional balance of your relationship.

If you got involved in Connor’s debts, the consequences start to deepen.
Selling drugs for him opens doors — dangerous ones.
Not selling still has consequences.
Either way, your choices now start branching into very different futures, whether you have the money… or not.

If Emily left the university, her student path evolves accordingly.
If she stayed, that choice also carries weight.

Professionally, new doors open — in the underworld, as well as in the very ambiguous role of a Douglas’s girl.
Each comes with promises… and costs.

If you chose the police path, the investigation continues — and this time, the emotional impact of your decisions may not stay neatly contained. Some of those consequences will carry over into the next update.

There are also:

New waitress events, giving Tanya a much stronger presence

Further developments around Connor’s debts even if you never sold drugs

A quiet but deliberate tease of Richard’s return

Emotional consequences of the Charlotte / Liam trio, if that was your path

And subtle progress with Andrew, if you’ve chosen to keep him as your submissive

All of this exists only if your choices made it possible.
Beyond the story

This update also brings tangible additions:

New outfits available in the shop

The webshop, allowing remote purchases for those who skipped the previous update

Continued replacement of AI-generated backgrounds with artist-made environments, as originally planned

On top of that, several bugs and narrative inconsistencies have been fixed — including issues that could lock or misfire entire relationship paths.
Why this update matters

Just reading this summary probably gives you a sense of it — but I want to be clear:

Chapter 2.3 is where the game truly starts to branch in depth.
Not just different dialogues… but different emotional trajectories, careers, relationships, and future conflicts.

And this is only the beginning.

The January update (Chapter 2.4) is already shaping up to be huge — with:

The truth behind Marcus and Mrs. Harris

New adventures with Vicky

The real return of Richard

Major developments for Faith (depending on earlier choices)

And a lot of paths that only exist if you’ve been paying attention since Week 1

It will be my “late Christmas gift” to you.
Release schedule for Ch2.3

Boundless tier → January 5

Lured tier → January 15

Furthermore, starting in 2026, I plan to stop full public releases.
A free demo will remain available, but it will be deliberately limited — both in content and in branching depth — so that supporters truly get the full experience of Emily’s story.

Thank you all for supporting this project.
This game exists because of you — and I think Chapter 2.3 shows exactly why that support matters.

Enjoy the update, take your time exploring the paths…
and I’ll see you in 2026

I understand why it can feel like sad news, and I want to reassure you.

I’m not disappearing, and I’m not cutting ties with the community here.
I’ll still release a free public version — starting with the upcoming chapter 2.2.03, which will also be available for free on Patreon.

What will change going forward is simply the focus of my development.
The people funding the game allow me to keep working on it consistently, so future chapters and deeper branching will reach them first.

A free demo will always remain available, but it will be more curated and intentionally limited, so that supporters truly get the full experience of Emily’s story.
I’ll also keep updating the thread and answering questions here.
This forum has been important for the project, and that won’t change.

My friend, I think I am completely confused now between your Patreon post, still free Public Versions and free Demo.

English is not my 1st language, so there might be a barrier to completely understand.

So if you don't mind, I would highly appreciate if you could explain that a little further as I think it would be quite important to people around here.

Have a Merry Christmas time and thank you very much for your hard Work!

This is a bit confusing, so when you say free demo, do you mean version of the game which covers the entire length of the game but doesn't have all the paths/content, or a version which is shorter, e.g. only first week (and possibly further limited options-wise on top of that)?

I ask, because the former option would mean you have to effectively make two versions of the game for each update, which isn't really sensible way to spend development time. So it might be better to simply provide an earlier build of the game, one that is a few releases behind the version for patrons. I'd also advise not to remove options/paths from this demo version, simply because doing so means anyone trying your game gets only limited experience, which may make difference between interesting them in the full version or concluding that it's not worth their money.

That’s a fair point, and I appreciate you taking the time to question it.

To be completely transparent: when I first wrote my previous message, I was outlining the direction I want to go in, but I was still refining how to handle public releases in practice.

The feedback here helped me clarify that.
What I want to avoid is having a single static demo that never changes, or making public builds feel artificially restricted.

So the plan going forward is this:
– I’ll continue to post regular public updates here
– Those public builds will simply be a few updates behind the supporter version
– Each public build will remain complete and coherent up to the point where it stops, without removing internal choices or paths

Supporters will receive the most recent chapters, deeper branching, and ongoing improvements as development progresses.
This approach allows me to keep the thread active and accessible, while also making sure the project stays sustainable long-term.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback — it genuinely helped me sharpen how to handle this.

Great stuff!

Thx for making this more clear. I also think it is a smart idea to just follow what most AVNs do and what customers are used to. Why invent the wheel again when its already in use?

Merry Christmas to you!
