then you dont like novels, or reading. it takes a while, but if you can get in the right mood and relax enough to let let your mind drift, reading all those descriptions makes you brain start to vividly imagine it as real, the more descriptions the better sometimes. it has to be good writing though, and absolutely must be interested in the topic. stories can be so much more powerful and vivid than a movie can be, because you not only imagine seeing the girl or whatever, but you know whatshes thinking or feeling, what she smells like and sounds like, the temperature of the room whatever lol...

I like reading books or text games even but I don need to know a backstory for every tree that our protagonist meets I just can't force myself to "play" VN

You should be over 30 and in a very good mental heath to play the last 3 games, only a serial killer or a very sadistic Monster can play that without bad feelings and nightmares, Euphoria and sadistic blood have good endings but the bad endings are pure Horror. in Maggot baits you cant avoid a very cruel mercyless torture with a glowing Iron on every body part of an upsidedown tied up beatiful woman with burning soundeffects and her crying. Not much choices, Maggot baits is more like a VN and the player cant influence much.
