Just a quick devlog to let you know that development is going great. In fact, it's going so well that I've decided to pack in even more content Get ready for over 250 new renders in the next update. Yep, we're on the right track!
On top of that, I've been squashing several annoying bugs, so the next version will be much more stable.

Hey everyone! How's it going? I'm back with another update on how the visual novel is coming along.
I'm super excited to share that we've made a ton of progress. Let's get right to it!
Renders: We're at 85%!
The visual side of things is looking great and is almost finished. This means most of the backgrounds, character sprites, and other art assets are in their final versions or very close to it. The game is really starting to look the way I imagined, and I honestly think you're all going to love the style and atmosphere we're building.
Progress on the Code
The "brain" of the game has also gotten a lot of attention. I've been working hard on the code to make sure everything runs smoothly. This helps make your choices feel impactful and ensures the game is free of weird bugs. Long story short: the gameplay experience will be much more solid and enjoyable.
What's Next: Sneak Peeks!
Get ready! For the next devlog or update, I'm finally going to start showing things from the actual game. You can expect some sneak peeks, like screenshots of characters, backgrounds, and a little glimpse of how it all looks together. It's about time you all got to see what I've been working on!

Haven't even tried the game as I'm waiting for a couple more updates to drop.
That said, it annoys me greatly to see that it got a 1-star review. Idk, if it's actually a 1-star game, but almost none of the games I've played (which are a number far higher than I'd care to admit) are worth a 1-star.
Makes me think of the person as exceedingly petty and malicious, that gets a hard-on over shitting on other people's work.
What's most confusing is that the review itself is pretty neutral. And then bam, 1-star.
I hope this doesn't hinder the game, or the dev. The previews alone and the quality of the renders should make it impossible for the game to be 1-star, even if absolutely everything else other than the visuals suck.
Many games that have had a good reception have pretty ass render quality and this one looks pretty great.
I hope to get into it 2 or 3 updates down the line. Good luck dev!

I had the same plan as you -- playing 0.2 or 0.3, when there is more content. But I am watching this thread, and since you made me aware of the 1 star review, I decided to play it right away. I can see why someone may think it's a 1-star game in its current state, but I certainly don't agree with that rating and have added my own 4-star rating. I think this AVN is very promising.
