How are you meant to do truthseeker? I've not come close to hitting 250k. I have to be missing something at this point.

By pursuing academics and charisma. It requires a lot of focus, which scales on Yumeno relationship (which scales on charisma) and academics, which you need for this goal anyway. Also be sure to do endurance training for Trained body, and Heilig relationship points, which scales academics gain.

You'll need a decent amount of MOL invested in improving focus, academics and charisma.

Lastly, very key, use self destructive stance and eye catching attire, or Ostentatious Clothing if you have it unlocked. Use debate a lot for charisma, try to avoid wetwork levels so you can burn off HP efficiently to maintain self destructive stance.

Anyone encountering an issue where progress isn't being made? The scenario is (auto skip one day) and when I press the next button, progress isn't being made. In the below scenario, all I did is press the next button twice and the result is no progress was made. I'm not sure if this is tied to the auto skip being buggy or the implementation of the next day skip being faulty.

This definitely looks like a bug, if you're talking about Finances not moving, and the second one is two days into the future. Try closing the game and loading your day 60 save and see if it fixes it.

How do you upgrade the "cause trouble" action? It has no progress bar and the values don't seem to change no matter how many times i do it

I just hope that we find out that everyone in the college town survives the events on day 100. It would be a shame to develop a relationship with one of them only for them to die at the end of the first act.

I think the idea is to get powerful enough to either save them or prevent the attack.

I make 734 MOL per loop. Level 40 focus feels so far away. Is there any way to make more MOL?
I'm making 743 MOL per loop rn and each of the main upgrades cost 25k-ish xD
Minor increase in MOL but I can post my save if you want, might gleam some insight from it. It's far from optimized afterall and I just throw in what I think would work.

Currently I'm messing around with Master Your Popularity goal. Since it increases how much relationship levels buff stat gain modifiers, I think? I get to the kidnapping, complete levels 1-3 of that goal. Get a few levels in academics to get higher focus to get goal lvl 4. Then I get lvl 5 around day 78. I'm trying to figure out the best time to get lvl 5. Since it takes 4 whole days currently. If I do it earlier it'll take 5, but I realized if I time it right, I could lvl up focus midway through and finish it in 4 days, but earlier than my current setup.

...I just realized. I could remove a few levels of academics to lvl up Impatient upgrade to get a lot more focus lvls, maybe. Then I could get that goal lvl 5 way earlier.

Edit: I remembered it wrong, should be goal lvl 5, not 4. Fixed typos.

Oh geez my savefile is 18mbs, too large to put here somehow :ROFLMAO:
Save file bloat is apparently next on the priority list after R2, which is coming on Patreon next month. I feel you, man, my saves are 25MB.

Even with a truly egregious amount of MOL, I still only make 768. Make sure you're using ostentatious clothing, and take advantage of that high focus to bring Game Dev up as high as you can.

R2 is coming in August for Patreon and September for public, and it's got the next version of Game Dev, a repeatable MOL thing that runs across both cities that you can get 50 MOL per completion.

What's the point of Stand Guard action's Demonstrate Trustworthiness goal requiring 50,000 points?

Also my idea worked. I got Master Your Popularity goal lvl 5 complete 15 days earlier. My MOL per loop went from 734 to 736. I- I have no words. Oh well, time to afk for a few hours. I might be able to save Tanaka before the update drops. Hopefully.

There is no real point. It unlocks a money producing thing that works well, but it's useless in R2, because it requires an amount of wetwork health protection that makes Self Destructive stance inviable, and the really strong Finance actions are in Metropolis. There are supposed to be health management methods in R2 that might make it useful.

Actually it's not that simple. I took 1 level in instinct and basically hit the sweet spot where I can do the VIP action for 5 hp thus making both self destructive viable as well as massively boosting my finance levels. I didn't touch instinct at all before in fear of messing up my self-destructive schedule but I caved and went to redo my loop actions from the ground up and that's where I ended up with the 11 extra MO. Suggest giving it a try.

Interesting! I'll have to give it a go. My main concern was maintaining self-destructive in Metropolis, as if you can viably do the VIP action, smash and grab isn't gonna touch your HP at all.

I suppose you could just accept that you're only getting 18 days of self-destructive in Metropolis, if you time it perfectly. I'll do some testing.

Edit--Testing
So, I'm wrong, Cryomaniac is right. The thing I was neglecting is that adrenaline is *ridiculous* with this action. At 30 adrenaline, you get 3 stamina of progress, attribute, and goal progress per health point base. At 50 HP a pop, that's 150 bonus stamina. WHICH IS THEN MULTIPLIED BY 15.

Escort a VIP is 15x finance, 50 base HP, 10 base stamina. 150 effective stamina base, then add in 150x15 at 30 adrenaline. An absolutely insane 150+2250=2400 finance!

Office work in metropolis is 145x4 for 580 effective finance. Meaning every single use of Escort VIP is worth more than FOUR ACTIONS, a whole damn day, of working in metropolis, when you've got 30 adrenaline.

CSdev - Might need the 60 Finance achievement with R2, alongside the 50 Finance one XD
