Last post regarding this game from the dev indicated that they were hoping to have the newest update released before the end of month. However they don't want to give a release date as the last update took longer than expected to complete.

correct, no new post since then. on that post he said "Regarding the update, expect to have it released before the end of the month. I did not want to give a deadline because last time it took longer than planned."
He has been replying to a few messages on his post asking for an update and more info, but all he has really said is "soon" and "working on it".
the 'artist' and writer left the project,that's why it's getting delayed
