To all the people “this game is stolen” and that “this is just a copy of cursed forest quest” please sit down and listen. For there is context that lead up to this
[absent and inconsistent developer:
ever since the project has started the developer has always been very closed and kept to himself about updates and progress reports. And about 2 - 3 months ago they completely stopped posting on their patreon with no warning, announcements nor a goodbye.
you could say they’re taking a break but they also had another game like this which they abandoned a while ago while on their “break”. you can easily find if you search “goblin den” on patreon or click on this link:

The discussions happening on the forum:
[about two months after abandoning the project. just recently some users in the forum got tired of waiting and started making art of their own using ai. And the art was surprisingly good if not better then the original. And then there was talk of just continuing the abandoned game since the dev is most certainly not coming back to it]
[Now for the accusations:
“this is just a copy of cursed forest quest” for now yes. That is technically the case since there is no extra content from the base game but the people who are in charge of this project intend to add their own content to the game going forward where the previous developer abandoned the game at. So in due time there will be more content we just have to wait for the people on this project to push more content out]

I can see why people say this but this is still wrong. It evens out since the dev pretty much lead on their supporters that the game was going to be continued but instead pretty much lied and just scammed all of his supporters out so you really gotta ask yourself which is worse.
A community wanting to continue an abandoned project they pretty much already paid for. Or A developer giving false hope and rug pulling numerous people that saw the vision in their game]
and besides cmon people the game is ABANDONED! The creator does give jack shit about what happens to it. If anything he owes his community for cowering out of a project a SECOND time]
[Conclusion:
Look. I know you miss cursed forest quest as much as I do. But please for the love of god do NOT defend the developer. He dug his own grave by doing this to his community and if we band together and show support to the people developing this maybe we could even get somthing better when what the previous developer could’ve made]
[Ps: I am not lying about the support the dev got. Look at the comments to their latest post and you’ll see…]
