Kind of admirable that a game is so good that people lose their shit over a dev that didn't post an update in 12 days. Some games go updateless for months and don't garner half the attention, shows how high quality this game is lol

Just for people as a summary:
-game is not abandoned, dev just didn't look into patreon cuz he had nothing in particular to show
-dev wants to make CFQ the best novel it can be so would rather not rush out updates with a downgrade in quality
-since one core member left they are only 2 left, they are looking to expand (editor, animator etc.) and got people but intergrating them and giving them test tasks/giving feedback takes time
-could finish the novel on their own but they are negotiating their options (worst case they just finish it with 2 people)
-dev tries to release the update next week

I agree I wrote this as a suggestion on his post hope he reconsiders depending on the quality of the animations on the next update “Quick comment on the animated sound preview I hope sound matches the action that is taking place in the illustration and that you can add new sounds accordingly depending on the scene reusing sounds is fine if necessary just hope future scenes especially (sex scenes have a meatier clap or sound to them) I’m not judging this scene in particular just know devs that sometimes keep one sound for the whole game and it kills the immersion also in terms of animations I don’t think animations are necessary for everything I think maybe mostly for future sex scenes I personally don’t like when games have animations but are kinda half baked sometimes they can also kill the immersion and be distracting if not done right I think focusing on sound and leaving some nice animation for scenes that it would benefit is fine, I much prefer slight animations like the way you did the animation for FMC when she was poking his bulge in a past update I think was perfect, animation is great for bigger scenes maybe but agin if the animation is gonna look tacky I prefer something like the pervious example I provided cheers on the game thanks for always listening to our recommendations! ”

I kind of liked the 2 frame motion during the sex scenes, what I did miss in those were good sounds but imo that imagery was fine for me. It might depend tho with good jiggle animations (like actual good animations and not half assed stiff ones) u can create alot of magic aswell.

he can make a poll where we vote regarding the options available. But most importantly, we are glad that the guy gave an update and hopefully yall also learn to give some time and patience, if the dev didnt respond for over a month then you can clearly rant all you want but it only went 1 and 1/2 a week and this sub turned into a left for dead 2 mission. Hope yall remember that too!

I actually love the animation and the audio! I like the guessing of the actual action too, i'd say a hand something?
