Shit's hilarious. We've got shit like Satisfy Him and the Manor going years without updates meanwhile this dude goes silent for a month and gooners riot. You guys are straight up witch hunting the dude for something most of you aren't even paying for. I don't care all that much but gang this is pathetic. Just don't pay and move on. Who gives a shit if some dude wants to keep throwing money at them. Maybe the update will come. Maybe it won't. Maybe it'll come a year from now and be absolute peak. Or maybe it's abandoned and the dude dipped. It's whatever. It's not that deep.

Your attitude is exactly why more and more devs/scammers feel comfortable using this forum and Patreon to take advantage of people who support them in good faith.

There’s already proof that this dev was involved in another visual novel project that they completely abandoned without any explanation. Now we’re seeing the same warning signs all over again — missed updates, vague excuses, and radio silence.

People aren’t "rioting." They're frustrated because they’ve seen this pattern before and don’t want to get burned again. That’s not a witch hunt — that’s basic caution.

"It's not that deep" — it is when money's involved.

People aren't mad over a missed release. They're mad about a pattern of behavior where devs disappear, break promises, and keep collecting money. If nobody speaks up, the cycle just keeps repeating.

If you don’t care, that’s fine — but don’t act like others are wrong for expecting basic accountability.

Can someone please give the tldr of the whole scam situation?
Its been 2 months since i visited this thread, and i want to know if i should continue supporting this creator.
On July 21 it will be 2 months, so basically patreon charged money per month it has been 1 month going on 2 month and people where panicking after 1-2 week this was because dev said the next demo would be the 27th and then in June there was a delay because of a dev leaving. The dev then said he give an update in a couple of days, 11 days past then dev got 30+ messages he gave a update saying the
CFQ is not abandoned and they will try to release the demo next week this post was on June-14 and That's all I know. Also the dev left because the devs work full time jobs too. So people are saying scam because of last demo was May 21 and the said dev the next demo should be done by 27th then in June 14 they said they try to release the demo next week which will be June 21. I would cancel any support your currently giving and wait to see if dev release any demo ""If Dev is seeing this don't say things like next week when you can't keep it even if you say try/should people won't care about try/should when it's been a month""

Guess I was right on not taking anymore support for any devs, was going so good.

I might wait more llike half a month until I could say it's abandoned

Is the update overdue or is the game abandoned? That would be a real shame, since the art and story are quite good.

It's hard to answer because the dev isn't responsive and had an alleged history of abandoning games. We've pretty much given up on this game being continued, maybe try visit again next 2 weeks or next month

In my case, I will resubscribe if he continues posting consistent updates with worthwhile art. It is vacation time in many places around the world right now so I understand a break around this time of the year, but this should be mentionned to paying patreons. But in my case I couldn't wait and started drawing and all and did the art from my last two posts, but it took me hours to learn the software, then draw with my mouse, etc. I never did that before but it's doable. For me it took many hours with reusing existing art and changing it, but the script was like 20 to 30 min. It's not that hard, I guess you just need a plan on where the story will go and some creativity.
