I'm sure everyone has tried, but judging by the fact that he went completely silent for a whole month, it's clear the dev doesn't give a fuck anymore. Now, all he does is laugh and watch us in silence while he keeps making money off clueless people who still renew their subscriptions, probably already thinking about what kind of project to launch next year to scam even more people.

For a month? Yeah if he got rabies or a coma maybe he's not gonna come back, even ppl with cancer still can open their phone to say something.
Life goes on, buddy. There's a lot to do rather than mourning for a month.
The best we can do now is wait and see. I will support him again if he decides to come back and finish CFQ. But if he abandons this project and starts a new one that is likely to be abandoned again, I will tell to his supporters the bad things he has done in the past. Either he finishes this game first, or he quits his artist career for good.

I wouldn't say quit being an Artist but i would say to stop being a Prick and give some communication to assure consumers that the devs aren't ripping them off. Atp i'm convinced he's just milking it, it's been a month of silence and literally no update let alone dev log to the point it's just straight up SuSpicious.

Several People me included have said before that this dude has had several "Projects" Accounts/Social-Medias and Sub only Pages before. You can stumble upon them from time to time when browsing e-h or pixiv. Truly scum behavior with no Accountability whatsoever. Majority of People dont care about 5 bucks a month so they wont pursue the matter and nothing will be done about this. This Post will get deleted anyway but idc.

The whole scam narrative makes no sense. There's zero profit increase in abandoning an established project with loyal and paying supporters for a completely new project that has to earn supporters again.
If the dev really abandoned the game, it would be for other reasons. Most likely writer's block or artist's fatigue. Or it really is something personal.
