Agreed, but I personally kind of like the pistol nerf, as it incentivizes using the other weapons, which you can now carry multiple with you, other than one or two, and this is just me personally, I feel there needs to be a liiiitle bit more air strafe control, like just a tiny bit faster, cause sometimes I swear I nailed that jump over the saws, but nope, just barely too close and dead, and now I go back to the start of the level because of it, worse part is, the save was almost there, I sort of am ok with the cutting a level for the belief that the revamped enemies look even cooler, and the animations even more dope, I really enjoyed that one red slime ball enemy, the one that drops a canister and enters your mouth, also that one virus one that stabs into your brain, those two were awesome from last update, but maybe they'll be even better next update, like maybe the virus now instead of popping your head, turns you into a futa zombie, and the autopsy shows bullet holes in you because you ran into a squad or something and had to be gunned down(Or maybe a full screen wipe into an animation about that) maybe the red slime ball will enter you through a different way, or maybe you'll be knocked unconsious by it, so when your character wakes up she's suspended in some kind of flesh web.So after going through the demo, here are some thoughts:
-Shorter than the previous one with a level cut, but everything feels much smoother and polished. A much better first impression as a demo.
-I am not a fan of the pistol nerf. Yes, it now has infinite ammo but TTK is much too long and dmg progression is quite skewed at the moment with it going (in shots to kill per weapon) 8 > 8 > 4 > 1.
-Save Rooms need to be better spaced. As they are now I think it's suboptimal as they are (in minutes as an example) 5 > 5 > 5 > 1 > 1 > 1
Personally, a decent update, could be better could be worse, but hey, that's probably why the next time we'll hear from the creator is some time late august, to get feedback and tweak things.
