I'm only getting started. I am impressed by this game in many ways. I was ready to call it one of the best. But then...

mc and pal run into the main target bad guy in the middle of being assassinated. They save his life and the next day he hires tham to be part of his oranization. So now in a minit they are right where they need to be so they can do their inside maneuvers. Nah, I don't usually accept plot contrivances like that. Sure, there was a time when our hero rides up with an army right when suzy is being tied to the rail road tracks, saves her, and thus gets the girl, all of which was a brand new plot idea.

Oh, well, maybe dev thought I might be in a hurry to see The Dick do his stuff. But don't do that again, alright?

It shouldn't take so long going forward:

Hi!
Quick tech update! After a few delays, my new PC is finally here! Currently, I'm in the process of installing all the necessary software. I've encountered a few complications with version compatibility, but nothing too major (so far). I'm currently transferring terabytes of Cybernetic Seduction data. All this should take no longer than 2 days.
I'm really excited to test the rendering speed once everything is set up. Preliminary tests show that GPU temperatures won't exceed 65°C, which is a huge improvement from my previous setup where temps soared up to 85°C. This new machine is a beast! I ran a Cinebench test and got a score of 63,000 points. Unfortunately, I didn't perform this test on my old machine, and I wish I had for comparison.
So, it’s all about the technical setup right now, but once this is done, I'll finally start rendering and focusing on Season 2. Stay tuned!

Take care!

Hi!
I've just finished two days of rendering, and I have to say, I'm shocked— the rendering speed is INSANE! My old 3090 must have been at its durability limit because the difference is just unbelievable. Not only is the speed out of this world, but the temperatures are ultra low, which means these cards should last a lot longer.

And that's not all. I upgraded from a Threadripper 1950x to a Threadripper 7970x, and again, the difference is night and day. Saving the scene as well as uploading it to the render queue takes only a few seconds now. Not to mention posing high poly characters! It's all coming together quite nicely and I couldn't be more excited about Episode 5_1!
The next big test will be simulation speed in a few weeks, and I can't wait to see the results!

For now, the plan is to keep rendering, writing, and coding for the next couple of weeks. The animation workflow remains the same—I’ll still be rendering in the cloud because it's too damn efficient.

I'm super motivated and excited to pose and render more images! First previews will start next week after some color grading. Plus, keep an eye out for the May Special Render poll in the next few days.

Thank you all for your support and patience!
Back to work I go!
Take care!

And in the most recent dev updates he emphasizes the same thing once again.

I'm liking it so far, just got to the part where you meet Kendra at the university. But there's one worldbuilding thing that's confusing me. I'm sure they've made this clear and I probably just missed it because I was clicking ahead too fast but...are all the people in the city actually real?
real and real, it's a simulation and how much is zhine's imagination and how much based on real world only dev can answer and he won't tell.

Dev Update #150

Hi! I hope you’re doing well!

Rendering and More Rendering
Lately, I've been putting 90% of my attention on rendering and the remaining 10% on writing. Coding is mostly done, but I'll definitely need to revisit it before the update is complete. Episode 5_1 is still in the works and will take some time to be ready—currently, I'm estimating about 1.5 to 2 months. This timeline is tentative since I've recently upgraded to a new, faster PC, and I'm still gauging its impact on my workflow. Rest assured, any significant changes or updates will be instantly communicated.

Rendering scenes and color grading are moving along without a hitch. I'm excited to start sharing more previews with you starting next week!

"MC, we need to cook!"
I've also been developing a new, optional system that involves the main character cooking up batches of Morph. My goal is to make this as engaging and interactive as possible. For those who might prefer a less hands-on approach, you'll have the option to skip this feature or experience it in the standard visual novel style, which requires less interaction and lets you simply enjoy the process.

Look forward to more previews soon, along with a poll to decide on the monthly character render!

Take care!

Hi! Really quick update!
I'm going to say it again (and again) - rendering is moving at an astonishing speed, thanks to the new PC setup. It’s genuinely a pleasure to work on the renders now. The sheer amount of work I can achieve in a day is incredibly motivating.
However, there's a small hiccup – the heat output from the machine is enormous! While the internal components like GPU and CPU maintain low temperatures, my room (without the AC) feels like a sauna. I'm exploring solutions, including the dream of having my own separate office. It’s clear now more than ever that working where I sleep isn’t going to cut it much longer.

As for the tasks at hand, it’s the usual blend of rendering, writing, and coding. Nothing new. To add a bit of fun and engagement, I’d love to get your thoughts through a for-fun poll.

Who did you side with in the Zhine affair – Lilith or Mia? Let’s hear it!

Thank you for your continued support! Your encouragement fuels these late nights and heated (quite literally!) development sessions.

Take care!
