Props to you! Fixed the black surroundings as well for me...

hachigames seems like a limitation for the drive letter?
Glad that fixed it.
Hmm.
I'm not doing any explicit external loading, so it might be a bug with unity. I'll have to further investigate and try to reproduce it.

hachigames the bricks have really weird lighting all of a sudden View attachment 4242699
MAE356 hachigames i had this same issue, i have an amd radeon rx 7800 xt. what fixed it for me was reinstalling/updating drivers (amd adrenalin software was not showing any new drivers so i downloaded from amd website regardless). my guess is either the game build uses some new stuff that the installed driver does not support so upgrading fixed it, or maybe some badly generated shaders were on disk and installing drivers also clears shader cache (would also explain why moving the game worked for some in this thread, i believe shader cache is done based on executable path, so using a different path made it regenerate shader cache)

Thank you for the information. Every bit helps to establish exactly the nature of this issue.
Usually, shader caches are located in AppData/local/unity/ShaderCache, so in theory it should be independent of the application path. However, maybe moving it did triggerd a refresh in some ways, so what you said might indeed be the case.
