If I was the dev who just want to milk as much money as possible, I would keep the price, and come up more ways to reach your pockets.
It's free money, he doesn't lose anything (Other than his integrity), and apparently many ppl like this game. The longer he keep / adding these Unfair Paid Privileges, the more people will buy into it.
Lust Odyssey does this successfully, even tho the game is slowly turning into shit, I bet it's among the top "Profitable" games out there. If there are enough Simps to pay those ridiculous prices, it doesn't really matter if anyone else has left / is leaving.
The biggest offender: World of Warcraft
