Good for you if you take everything nice and quietly. Doesn't mean I have to copy that. It's called personality, they can and will differ a lot and you are the last one who has to dictate which one I should have.

I stopped working with animated 3D models cause it was incredibly complicated and time wasting.
On the other hand, while 2d sprites are easier to manage and allow more characters on screen, they won't allow any customization system.
For example a simple walk animation requires 6 hours of work. So far I drew 100 animations.
Colour customization is the only system who fits the game without costing too much time or performance.
1) I just wondered why you drastically changed style by the old one, and now I know why and I do understand how much time and efforts is needed just for make some animated stuff.
About the gameplay, Daggan is focused on short arcade-style games, that's why I didn't bother about a save system.
Also it's a procedural strategy game (so a ton of complicated systems) which makes it even more impossible for me to make any kind of save system.
2) Just want to says as you make a nice "village" and spend on a custom game some hours of play, a possibility to save the game was be nice, for maybe go back into the saved game and have all your progress instead create another game and make everything by start. But I do understand this too.
And for the gay or intersex relationships. If you don't like it, just avoid related characters.
There is even a passive skill to unlock to allow reproduction through same sex relationship,
so you can even avoid straight sex if you wish.
3) Where this skill and how I unlock it? Anyways adding intersex PG/NPC's can be nice.
Also small reminder, I'm working alone. And I can't work 10 hours a day on Daggan.
I have other projects, for the purposes of varying tasks, learning/improving my skills and etc.
4) Understand that too. Take your time and keep it up. The game is nice and interesting, and surely it improve, as the same of yours skills with the time.
For example I'm working on a game during February/March. Mostly to have fun and experiment new gameplay ideas.
Some of these ideas and some tools developed for it will probably be used in Daggan. Hopefully.
