How did you catch them? When I go there at 3pm on Saturday they're talking behind a bush, and when I approach them they both leave and it says I have to try something else.

Notice how the event mentions "cucumber harvest period". She raises 3 types of crops. You have to see her in the afternoon (3 pm is good) when she's harvesting cocumbers (the ones in the bottom). The rest of the quests follow the same logic. It's honestly a fairly tedious process...
Approach from the right side
Don't enter the vineyard. There is a small way on the right side of the cabin. Go all the way to the top and stay behind the big bush
Every time I find her there I can only click "help".. I get no scene, only 100 coins an affection points

Pay attention to the reply. It must be on cocumber harvest day. Try during the days the lower crops are fully grown
