I agree the progression could be faster if the dev focused on one character at a time, but if that happened, you'd also have people complaining that there favourite character hasn't gotten any scenes.

Well... Some games did focused on 1 characters... Their fan complains but still focused on 1 character but still took over 2-3 months... I think its just depends on the devs I guess?

Is this actually said in the game? Or is this just something the dev made up to get around patreon rules?

Also random thought: If people want to make porn of short people, why don't they just stylize Chibi people? Just make EVERYONE short, but still look like actual adults. Short adults that look like adults exist.

lmao, it's obviously a rule work around. Just look how they act and are treated. The non adult looking characters are clearly modeled to be middle schoolers at best. Anne has a elementary mindset. Of course there's a few girls like the tanned swim club girl, Mae and the delinquent girl who look older than the rest of the students but usually in a countryside town, schools have all 3 lvls of education in one place.

In short, most games like these SAY the characters are 18+ but it's obvious that is bs. They are just doing what they can to stay legal while making shota based and loli based games.

As to your random thought, depends on the artstyle. More anime styled or western cartoon styled characters is just going to look young. Usually short yet adult looking characters come from a more realistic style like Aurelia. However for games like this, short looking adults isn't what they are aiming for. It's catering to the onee x shota (older girl with younger guy) crowd, thus the mc is usually elementary or middle school looking while the girls are high schoolers to middle-aged women.

Most of the characters that aren't expressly adults are written to most likely still be in middle school as you pointed out. It's why I don't like loli characters because saying how old they are is just a shield when they're drawn and written to act like they're still kids.

If you're actually interested in keeping up to date with the game's development I'd join his discord. You can talk to him yourself and if you're a patron you can see an in depth list of what's being worked on and how far along the update is. He miss labeled the poll on Subscribestar, its not actually a v0.2.8 update its for the v0.3.0 update. v0.2.8 is what he's currently working on and it will be a Mabel update, v0.2.9 is going to be focused on Nina and the results of the poll will decide what the focus of v0.3.0 will be.

Yeah I got mixed feelings for another game where EVERYONE has adult bodies, but the one with the most sex scenes is the one that acts like a child the most despite her design where physically she looks nothing like a loli.

Well that white haired girl is very new, so it makes sense. Thank god we're getting some Nina (and Cindy too I guess, since they stories are related) in 0.2.9.
