so why did dev finish/drop this game? i dont know the discord link so any person who knows why he stopped?

He's not going to work on the game anymore. It's essentially abandoned, the dev basically said that there are too many moving parts and variables that he has no idea how to continue the game and or give it a conclusion. Also that this game was a test trial and he plans to make more.
Unfortunate that it ends here but ah well, best of luck to the dev, I hope to see what he makes in the future.

I think his mistake was making the game free roam. He should remake it linear with branching plot more akin to College Daze; That way its more manageable, and instead of have many free moving variable, all you have to deal with is true of false (0 or 1) when scene happen.
I'm glad. This game was not the best one for sure, but it had some potential. If the dev decides to do something like Corrupted Town they might have something solid in their hands.
Was a good test run, I enjoyed it, look forward to what s93 has in store for future games

Yeah. This is Finale of the game, but if you intrest - maybe i work in future in same universe (i kinda like post-apocaliptic theme, Fallout is my waifu).
As some good people have already said above - I decided to finish because it turned out to be quite difficult to continue working in this format. I have ideas for a future project, but I will share them after I make sure that I did everything correctly and well. Still, if Damned City is my first project, then I will no longer be able to justify myself like that. I will have to work better to make something better next time.
And if someone like my trying and you wanna give me some adwise or ideas - feel free to share. Discord stay the same (not literally):

Is there a real Gina event with the loans? I haven't been able to trigger it.
They make it seem like you need to either run out of food or money, and then Gina goes borrows money for you. I saved her pre-Chapter 1 so she's my "girlfriend", but I can't seem to trigger that event based on the hints.

Yeah it is. I add some hints in the end (if you go to street there is a chance meet character who can help you with adwise). But in short - you need Gina saved in the start, then ask her for money when you need them and then wait for 7 days.

Never played this, just happen to see the update pop up. But I have to say, unlike many other developers that keep milking something instead of admitting that their ideas grew to big for their britches is a rarity and impressive in a way. Considering that this was just a learning experience then its alright, just remember to take one step at a time and plan ahead of time so hopefully your next creation doesnt go into development hell like some.... others that are disappointing because they have enough backers to just keep kicking a dead horse instead of doing better. I believe in ya sir, you got this, and I hope to see your future creations!
Hey, it's great to be creative and to plan ahead, it's just that more often than not holding the implementation of paths at least until you have figured out the whole branching pays off big time. It's all about the scope in the end, which can be extremely hard to figure out in the beginning.
Congrats on the game mate, you did an amazing job. Good luck on your next projects!
