I can rate this game in a single sentence: You can jump. And I do that because jumping is like one of the basic things that have defined video games ever since Donkey Kong. And this is what this game is, this game has so many nice little details and nods to other games, and the strange 50s/70s setting, it's just amazing.

Pros:
- Game looks gorgeous: It's basically Mother with sex and without RPG elements. It looks so good that you can even swap some of the assets and it would pass as an Scott Pilgrim Game.
- Characters are great: All characters are likable, except Tess.
- Great controls and gameplay: I know a lot of people don't like free roaming games for some reason, but this one is very smooth with movement and the quest marker helps a lot.
- Music is pretty damn good: Self explanatory.
- Dev listens: I refused to play this game for so long because of the scene involving the cop that was removed because players didn't like it. I would support any dev who listens to their players like this.
- Good amount of content: Since I hold from playing this game this whole time, I can say that the amount of content is very decent for most girls.

Cons:
- NPC placement: Some NPCs appear only once per day around town and no more. For example, your sister is only in her room during mornings, and she is not around at all after that, not even at school. Same with plenty of other NPCs that completely disappear off the map suring the rest of the days for no particular reason. Doesn't make them feel too real. Can be simply fixed by, using the sister as an example, have her at school in the morning and in her room in the evening.
- Events advance daytime: This is kinda personal, but events advancing daytime all the way to next morning without a warning is a bit annoying. I usually try to make the most of a single game day.
- Some relationships feel extremely rushed: The swimmer girl has a very nice pacing when it comes to getting to a blowjob and it's nicely justified. However, things like having sex with your sister or your sister friends feels like they happen literally one after the other, because they do. Tess is specially aggravating, I understand her storyline will continue later on, but out of nowhere she decided to have sex at school after a handjob and that's it.
- The UI could use some work. It looks fantastic, but it isn't too smooth to navigate. It lacks more in depth information, specially in the relationship tab.
- You are locked out of revisiting content when you finish. Something that can easily be fixed in the future, along the previous point. I thought maybe adding different characters to the character review, not just the MC, so you can see them naked in the PC, for example.
- Totally not incest: And this is the reason the game don't have 5 stars. It's jarring that despite being assigned as mom, the MC still refers to her as Melissa.

It seems like it has more pros than cons, but the pros easily outweighs the cons and it's a game worth playing, because it is properly a game, and a good one in most aspects.

Really beautiful and refreshing artwork. Colorful characters that are fun and entretaining to interact with. Likeable main character. Catchy soundtracks and the 80s - 90s ambiance is both spot on AND brilliant! This is trully a good product! Would 100% recommend!!

What can I say, it's really good. runs smooth , nice animations and great community around it on their Discord. Big plus , you have all that you could wish for: sister, milf, mom, classmate etc. The world is full of easter eggs and popculture references and a ton to do in the city.

[REVIEW OF v0.4.2]

Playing Dandy Boy Adventures is like playing Summertime Saga, but it's a SNES RPG instead of a pure visual novel. It's got a lot of the same story beats as Saga and is structured fairly similarly, but with a ton of extra side content and more engaging gameplay.

However, I had enough problems with it that I didn't enjoy DBA much beyond the 70% or so of the game I completed. To its credit, it's remarkably complete for how early-alpha it is, and the pixel art is clean and professional, but I personally don't like how little it held my hand, how annoyingly difficult a few of the minigames are, or the writing.

It was the writing that was the nail in the coffin for me. I can deal with a game that has somewhat tedious gameplay and art I only kind of like if the characters and plot are written well, but I couldn't help but feel like each character was just there as a fuckable object and not as a person. This is a porn game — fuckable is their purpose — but it takes me out of a game when I can't see a character as anything but a cardboard cutout.

Personally, I didn't really like Dandy Boy Adventures, but if you're a fan of giant basketball tits and Summertime Saga, you'll probably like this.

Ok where to start...
When I first saw this game around different porn game forums, I had a feeling that I wouldn’t like it very much, and I kept avoiding it for that reason alone. However, I decided to give it a chance after seeing it so often, seeing the popularity of it, and seeing some of the high reviews. And after playing it, I can firmly say... I still don’t like it. Let me start with what’s good.

Pros
- The art isn’t half bad. (Notice how I say art and not h-scenes, I’ll touch upon those later.) I appreciate that it is original and wasn’t created with some Chara Studio, so that shows me some true effort.
- The style is unique and interesting. More originality points! The 80’s theme is super awesome, the town looks fresh and really interesting, and (although large) the town has a comfortable, homey feel to it. It’s a nice breath of fresh air.
- The dialogue is pretty good. The interactions between characters feels immersive, (and with some characters) very taboo .
- HAS MUSIC! It’s so necessary that it can make or break a game. All porn games should have music... end of story. And this game’s music isn’t half bad either; although a bit repetitive, it’s still pretty catchy.

Cons
- The h-scenes are so disappointing. They just don’t feel rewarding at all. They’re quick ‘back and forth’ animations with nothing special about them. The blowjob ones especially just aren’t “hot” per se. I look at them and just think to myself “The MC’s dick is kind of just sitting in there...” Not to mention that they’re all the same for every character... NO VARIATION WHATSOEVER. Just the same old 2 second animation. Fucking lazy if you ask me.
- There isn’t a way to scroll back in dialogue. This is just annoying. One mis-click and you’ll never know what they said. No log either.
- The progression isn’t smooth at all. One minute you’re getting milk for your mother, the next she’s sucking on your dick. Like what?!? Where did that come from? I would have appreciated a more gradual, sexy relationship with her.
- The movement in the game sucks. I don’t like the keyboard, it’s irritating. The dev should have found a way to make the mouse a viable controller. It would have been easier to develop/code for the team and easier to use for the players.
- There isn’t a “skip time” button anywhere. So if you want to advance the time, you have to run from wherever you are on the huge ass map to either your house to nap or to the school for class on weekdays. This is super annoying and a waste of time.
- No guidance or walkthrough. They finally give it to you, AFTER you’ve started the quest. What a fucking joke. There’s no way to know how to start the quests or where to go to start them. Also, good luck finding shit like a pair of swimming trunks in the middle of nowhere to be able to start one of them.
- The mini games are stupid, annoying, and way too difficult. I used to be able to say that I’ve never rage quit when playing a porn game... not anymore . If I were to describe to you in words how hard the track mini game is using the keyboard, you’d never play this game. The only reason I was able to beat it, was sheer fucking luck. Why is it so fucking hard? I spent at the very least 35 minutes grinding to beat that stupid shit. And again, the scene you get for it afterwords isn’t even worth your time. Unrewarding and unenjoyable. And I haven’t even mentioned the box puzzle mini games for money.......... Seriously??? Is this the new low we’ve reached??? Give me a break. If the developer team had spent their time on the porn, story, and fun factor instead of this garbage, then the game would already be an easy 5 star.

I hope they get their shit together though. It’s gonna suck if this game continues down this road.

TL;DR Unrewarding and unenjoyable.

The game itself has a good style, but the h-scenes and the story elements are rather short and the mini games are basically longer than the sex scenes. Although i like that the mini games arent mega easy, but i just dont like the ratio between mini games and the length of the story and h-scenes. Also you progress quite quickly, e.g. the truth or dare story went from "get out of my room" to "yea sure fuck me" within 2 days basically.
Still a refreshing game though for its unique art style.

this is a review of 0.4.2 of which I'm only about 30% through
that being said, this game is unique and awesome. great hand drawn 80's aesthetic. comfy gameplay with a very rewarding pace of scenes. the minigames are actually fun though kinda tough. i wish they were skippable. another very minor problem is that I wish there were more colored girls. its kinda funny how they kill 2 birds with one stone by making the japanese girl brown (which I like) but I wish there was a more designated brown girl like a latina. that being said, the girls are likable and there will probably be a few that you like.
one last thing, is I wish the scenes explored more fetishes, particularly solo female and female-female. maybe its waiting for me ahead since im relatively early in the game.
this game is extremely charming though and the hard work and soul put into it makes it resonate. I hope it sees completion one day.

Review of v0.4

Dandy Boy is an amazing game that makes you really feel the 80's vibe .

Pros:

1. Open world with NO BUGS
2. A lot of possibilities (choices of the mission, work, find secrets, ...)
3. Many characters, girls are hot with different personalities. Even though it's a harem game, the dev has made the right choice to put guys too, to make Dandy Boy more realistic and have a better scenario !
4. In-Game cheats, excellent gameplay, a lot of things are thoughts for the player and that's awesome!
5. The musical ambiance has not been forgotten, there's multiple musics for each period of the day and the place where the mc is (even though it would benefit from more songs during the day/night in the city. For example, the afternoon, it would be nice to have two musics looping instead of one)
6. The game is challenging (a little too much for my tastes, but with the cheats, it's fine).
7. The art and programming are nicely done.
8. A lot of work is put into the game.

Cons:

1. For me there's one real BIG con, it's the sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, as I said before, the art is great, but the sex scenes are too childish, even for students. They are too crude. There's no sensuality whatsoever.

   Sexe scenes would really benefit from more than only one position and with better camera angles. It's one of the rare porn games I have liked for the gameplay and not for fapping .
2. This is a detail, but it would be nice to be able to pass the time by clicking on the day or with a shortcut (maybe there's one that I'm not aware of). The game is really user friendly and this would be one of the things that improve this aspect of the game.

Recap:

Dandy Boy is a great game, user friendly, with many characters, a nice atmosphere, and a good scenario. The art and the programming are top notch except that the sex scenes are too childish.
As for v.04, there's a decent amount of content, we only want more !

The story and scenes are very much like the art, cute, simple and without any substance.

Lots of grinding and running around , some minigames of higher difficulty than most porn games, I can respect the minigames not being a joke as they usually are but the amount of grinding for what you get is very annoying, even if the scenes and story were to be vastly improved I would still cut back on the grind.

The engine is impressive compared to RPGM, the controls on the other hand are stupid, the gameplay is simple, this renders some of the buttons redundant, the layout is also bad but the buttons can be remapped, they should not have to be though.

As you progress the game gives you the impression it's going to get better, it doesn't, it does still have potential but as it stands I really don't understand its current rating.

Solid 5/5, while the CGs could be improved, especially in the positions and poses taken, they still remain great pixel art CGs.

This is an actual game and not using RPGM for once, the features are solid, while there is some grind for money, for the most part the gameplay loop is very straight forward.

Well if you are an anime fan maive this game doesn´t look good to you but it´s a differen art to play with it and you could even gettint a "good play" if you play it . the game has a lot of effort on it and its different of all that games on 3d images . Personaly recomended to support it

My favorite game of the moment.
I love the style of this artist and the gameplay is the best of what I've seen for this kind of game by then.
This is just the beginning and there is still a lot of work to confirm the hopes placed in it but I am very enthusiastic.
Really promising.

For an early alpha, this game is fucking great. Lots of content, good gameplay, nice looking characters, well made engine... I couldn't have asked for more! There are a few bugs every now and then and some minigames feel cheap, however that's to be expected with super early alpha games, and I'm assuming they'll be patched out soon.

This is a high quality game but lacks content. Understandable when you consider it's an early build. I haven't been able to find any scenes (just mini scenes for now) but graphics are cool, quests are decent. In the end tons of potential, hopefully will get much better.

I just finished the game and I wanted to repeat the scenes with mother alex and dex mother although it was very little. is an incredible game with a real classic style with a big variety of missions, I love the art of this game and I hope who this game have many updates especially with that mother so hot. I love; This game really exceeded my expectations. congratulations to the creator and those who help him with this masterpiece. peace and love.

This game is one of the best if not the best game I've found on this site.
-Unique and beautiful art style
-A good progression story for being only a few updates in
-Have not had any bugs
-Jumping, sprinting, and physics mechanics
-The game does not feel choppy or rushed, everything feels purposeful
-Menu and overlays throughout seem to be something would be found in a AAA game
-Every character model and personality feels individual and their own- So it's almost guaranteed you can find a character that strikes a chord with you
These are just some of the things I noticed about this game, and cannot wait to see what it will become.
Bravo to Oni and Brakus

This game is what people would call a gem that needs some polishing, it has an amazing and unique art style that gives this nostalgic feeling and the drawn very well.The game only needs to work on things such as pacing the scenes because the scenes end very quickly for Ex. milf sucks dick then in two more lines the scenes already finished and the other thing that need to be improved is the runing speed its too slow and in game you do a lot of runing so hope that gets fixed. But overall great game has amazing potential to be on steam store even.

Grindy minigames, progression breaking bugs, and lots of running around are what you can expect from this game as it is. Scenes are great but there's a lot of fetch quest nonsense and grind between scenes. Once the world is more filled out so there are people to talk to/things to do the game will probably be excellent but as it stands I wouldn't recommend it.

No one wants to play a poorly implemented paperboy ripoff while playing this kind of game and box pushing puzzles are the low point of any game they're in. It makes no sense to me that those are the primary way of making money in the game. The devs should abandon these minigames entirely and make gaining cash exploration based once the world is more fleshed out (shovel is a partial implementation of this but is locked behind a purchase).

oh boy. I don't like this kind of rpg games but it is something else really. cute characters, huge content, character controllers feel smooth. but the dialogues felt a tad bit rushed and short tbh. not saying badly written or anything, just short. in a nutshell, great game with nice looking characters. in love with the art style. keep up the good work<3
