You really need to enter a gallery for repeating events if the save files aren´t preserved from one version to another, because by God, repeating the entire game again just to see the new thing every time is tedious.
I try to use your saves to start the 0.6 (wanted the full 5.7 save). I think it doesn't regonize it, I'm missing something ? (I followed everything, and I'm amazed by your dedication)
They just need to make an option to start at the latest content because a game this far in development making previous saves not work it just crazy, I'm not starting over again after putting hours in

Unfortunately I think it's exactly what it seems, you'll need to either wait for Big Daddy to upload a new one or play through the entire game ALLLLLL over again to get back where you were previously. Personally I got better things I can do with those 12 hours, especially if it's for every update.

Those are saves from 0.5.7, and they're not compatible with 0.6. So try as you might, they will not work with 0.6, unfortunately.

My guess as to why the saves don't convert is the fact that the devs are using their own proprietary engine. This isn't Ren'py or RPG Maker, Brakus made the engine from scratch.
Given that, there isn't anything stopping him from updating the engine here and there as they create each new update. They've posted things in the past about how they were tweaking the lights to be better, and honestly if it were me, I'd be iterating on it if I had the opportunity, because why not make it better?
With each tweak and change, each update uses an engine that likely has a lot of differences from the last version. Probably not big differences all the time, but little ones all over the place. If you tried to use a save from a previous build, it would break the game too much. Developing a fix to convert saves to the new release would be a lot of work, and probably isn't worth the time and energy (releases would probably take much longer) for the devs.
Not saying I'm defending this approach, just guessing as to why this happens.

All those sliding puzzles I had as a kid have prepared me for this update.
An unfortunately uninspired update.
The DBA team is capable of some great, content-rich updates (e.g. Rhonda update, which came with some Mel + Amy content and a holiday event not long after). These guys are a great dev team but it's clear that the circumstances surrounding the development of the game at the moment are really holding it back.
It seems from the timing of Oni's twitter/patreon posts that the majority of the content in this update is only around 2-3 months old. The story with Ms. B is obviously rushed and sometimes bizarre, notably in the scene that includes the "New Character". It's probably the cheapest narrative way to make Janet affectionate towards Alex, and very similar to Traci's story. Also not sure why the decision to give her an Eastern European/Russian accent was made given her name is Janet Burnett (no exploration of this in her story either).
Worth mentioning the foursome scene which was removed (though still in the CG rip) and the strange decision to remake all of Mel's sprites, which was admitted by the dev to be a mistake in one of his patreon posts. The slider game isn't terrible, but it's hardly original nor a creative minigame and was likely put together in haste. Two of the images in this minigame are repurposed images from patreon content (Sunny + Janet) and could have been used in scenes instead.
Hoping the devs can focus on making the next update better and can come back to enhance Janet's story line at some point in the future. They have made an excellent game world which now just needs to be backed up by solid character content.

While I'm happy that he got rid of the sharing content with the teacher, I'm kinda flabbergasted as to why he'd do it in the first place considering it's pretty obviously out of character, and the severe backlash the whole mother-cop drama originally caused. And then to do it so close to this release date? Just how many hours of productivity were scrapped? Even that aside, compred to even the most recent update with Traci, that is a lot of time and not a lot of content to show for it.
So yeah, I guess I'm throwing DBA on the ever-increasing pile of games/devs that just can't churn out good content in anything approaching a timely matter anymore. And I say this as an ex-Patron as well.

I don't wanna call this milking, but the amount of content really is disappointing. Based on the CGrips alone in a span of 9+ months, all we get is 2 animations with Ms. B (1 sharing variation in the CGrip), a puzzle game that frustrates people, & a rework on melissa that no one really asked for (though it was a fairly decent improvement).
It makes you think why the hell did they hype up such an uninspiring update. They did way better with the past 2 updates.

Fuck man, for a game as lengthy as this you would think the developer's first priority would be make the previous saves compatible, or at least provide a fucking skip to the latest content option.
The game's great and all, can't deny that, but come on.

You'd think it would be in there as a "cheat" option like some of the other minigames like the warehouse one which are piss easy by comparison.

I don't know specifically what they mean about "happenings behind the scene", but as for the other stuff:
A while ago there was some proposed scene with the mom and I thought the news reporter guy, but maybe it was a cop instead? I dunno, all I know was a scene was teased where someone other than the MC would be maybe fucking the mom, which got a bunch of people twisted up cause they didn't like it.
And recently once again the dev teased a potential scene with the teacher and a bunch of the students in a group thing but, once again, a lot of people seemed to not like it and made some fuss. Funny enough the recent CG rip seems to suggest the animation and art files are in the game already but aren't actually programmed/implemented into the game right now, so it's not clear whether the dev meant to trash it entirely or just delay it for a future update.
TLDR Dev keeps trying to put in other dudes fucking the female characters besides MC and people keep getting riled up over it because they don't like "other dudes" fucking "their" girls or something.
