This is horrible archiving for windows 10 users, hundreds of folders with just 1 picture in them. Windows can't sort folders by size so if one of these have more than 1 picture I would never know.

What is the reason it is just not just named pictures instead of several folders with 1 picture?

Because the artist shared them like that. As a Win 10 user, open the main folder, go to search for .png or.jpg, enter, then ctrl+a and copy it, and then create a new folder. Problem solved. It's not that hard if you really want them all in 1 folder with out subfolders.
