Not saying the new art style is bad, though personally I really prefer the old one, but I don't really understand why? If it's based on the show, why deviate from the original character designs and go for a generic Anime-ish look? Didn't like it when Amity Park did it and I still don't.

Still, good luck with the game.

I also preferred the Maddie design before this recent change. And I am saying this from the perspective of someone who has never watched the show.

I liked the original art style in amity park because it had a uniqueness about it that stood out and made it interesting. And while I never watched the show, I understand this uniqueness came from copying the art style of the show. This new design is so much more generic looking and less interesting, imo.

Also looks way too young for a mother character, as other posters noted. Just wanted to give some feedback, especially as this project is still so early on and there is still a chance many things might change.

As someone that has been following Amity Park for.. what 6+ years now? I like the new designs over the previous. It keeps the base designs of the characters but with what I'd consider to be a more modern style. Especially love the current WIP of Ember as well!

It'll be more serious (well, at least for a Danny Phantom parody), and doing its own thing, because I find having to just re-write the same stuff incredibly boring.

Considering the fact that the people who would’ve watched or have been familiar with that show in its heyday will be close to 20 years older than the initially were? Yeah, we feel it’s appropriate to be able to raise the level of maturity in the storytelling.
