fun fact, the latest comic that does some Phantom Planet retcons actually sets what you posted as the pitch for continuing Danny Phantom stories.

I hope that doesn't happen, given the current state of the industry I don't want anything from my childhood brought back. Netflix is the prime example but anything the california leftist alphabet cancer touches turns out the same and they openly admit they do it on purpose. It's at the point where "netflix adaptation" is a meme even your tech illiterate grandma knows.

If they bring back the show, Sam is gonna be an insufferable fat feminist lesbian, Tucker will be the genius oppressed black who should have gotten Danny's powers (until they do a Miles Morales with him) and Danny will be the privileged White guy who doesn't deserve anything and needs to apologize for being born... assuming they don't race swap him or make him gay but then they will still need a straight White male to shit on.
