Gotta say, the game so far has been prettyyyy fucking amazing! I've encountered a lot of bugs, some of which were kinda absurd... (like being raped by dead NPCs and not being able to move afterwards) but despite all the flaws the game has in it's current state, the concept and execution has been really good!
That said, I do have a few gripes with the game. Despite the game being a sandbox, in it's current state, I don't feel very "free." I guess that's moreso to do with the fact that the game is still in development, but the lack of branching paths is a bit disappointing. If I were to reject a certain character and end their quest, it wouldn't open up a new path, and instead just lock me out of doing without giving us another option to progress it which is unfortunate.
The art, animations, and overall aesthetic of the game are an absolute 10/10! The Irhaal's design is great, and I find it neat that we get to change her hair color at the second town, though at that point, I feel like it'd be better to just give us character customization when starting the game, but I guess it'd take a lot of effort to flesh out a system like that, so I think it's fine.
The lack of variety in H animations is also a bit disappointing. Every mob/character has 1 animation that they play when raping the player, with very few exceptions (the only one I can think of that has multiple is the fat cultist, who has a blowjob animation and a sex animation which is reused by both Norman and the fat merchant near the horse guy. All skinny human men and all 3 slime variants share the same animation, and surprisingly, the goblins share the same sex animation with the hounds you can find in the forest areas, making it all feel very repetitive.
All in all, while the game still has a long way to go in terms of polish and content depth, it’s already showing a lot of promise. If the devs continue refining the mechanics and expanding the branching paths and animations, this could easily become one of the standout titles in the genre. I’m really looking forward to seeing how it evolves from here!
