I think that you can make it from the start (no blueprint, like the axe).

why cant i mine any stone from the nodes? there are so many stone nodes around and i cant get any, even though i have a pickaxe
What? I haven't it in my crate menu, so as the axe, I bought it from the merchant.
Yee same thing happened to me. Came here to find these comments but between my berries running out and being basically blind at that point I could only find one woman in the village and that wasn't it. So I had to restart and then savescum the fight.
The gameplay is also very odd. Like, almost every single "menu/container" can't be closed with esc, and opens in a different part of the screen. So it's incredibly tedious to go mouse clicking them off every time. Speaking of mouse clicking, being a H-game you usually need a very very good compelling reason to require 2-handed controls. I see no such reason here. There's no reason for all this effort of pointing the cursor at an interactable & clicking it like now or needing the mouse to navigate menus, see how RPGM does all the same things with no need for a mouse?
The game has tremendous potential, really! But these first impressions & basics desperately need attention.
Edit: After all of the above, I spent all my stamina on quests & gathering until I got exhausted & blinded yet again. Apparently you need a whole bunch of random stuff just to sleep? Would have been very nice to know I had to prepare all that *before* getting to that point. I'm sensing a pattern here... reading back on this thread, apparently you also need to create a new axe before wearing out the first one or you'll brick your game from progress?
Is this what this is going to be like then? Trapping the players by design, over and over like this? I really hope this stuff gets addressed in the future. I'm sorry but I'm moving on for now. <3

How do you unlock prostitution? I have felt like I have done all I can and am completely stuck on this.

There isn't exactly such thing as unlocking prostitution in this game. It depend on NPC. You can prostitute to merchant to lower a price after you opened selling items window at least once. It will increase lust each time. You can join goblin extermination forces (or whatever it's was called). I recommend during sex event just choose horniest option to increate Lust more quickly. For goblins you have to have certain amount of lust to have prostitution option available. Do quests for widow so her horny diary fragment are going to appear scattered at that location, then by reading it Lust also increases.
At lust level 30 and did the merchant prostitution event a few times but still can't do it with goblins or Norman

Then don't know. It worked in previous version. It could be a bug or devs have changed requirements.

Yeah this has to be a bug or there is a very specific trigger I am missing. I farmed up to 100 lust. Can you only do one H-event per day? Meh,I hope the dev sees this and calls me a dumb dumb and fixes it.
Just another thing I have noticed. The sexual stats are not going up (don't know if that is intentional) but yeah, apparently my character has had intercourse one time and never done prostitution even though I have farmed the merchant event enough to get me to 100 lust.
