Ren'Py - Abandoned - Dark Magic [v0.17.1] [F.Lord]

One of my favorites, very developed characters and history, and the H scenes are awesome, i really like this game, but if I could I would add more group events or even something that could let me do it, like corrupt some of them and make a group event.

Very Well made game the h scenes are well animated the witting is written well enough and not cheesy the game play is point and clip but not bad for an h game the characters are all very sexy and well made the amount of characters is very plentiful and gives you a lot of different scenes to enjoy give it a shot and support the creator if possible Also the design of all the girls is Asian which earns bonus points from me

This game is OK but definetely not in my favorites.

The models could be better, but this level of quality is to be expected with Honeyselect games. There are however a ton of characters to makeup for this. The downside is that most characters are irrelevant and have little screen time and scenes.

The animations honestly surprised me. There are some HQ animations here. The corruption however is inconsistent throughout the game. Some characters you are able to corrupt a lot, some a little and some not at all, which is a shame considering this is the main reason i wanted to play the game.

My biggest problem however with this game are the characters and story. Maybe its just me, but I do enjoy it when characters seem interesting and are more than just sex dolls. In this game however the story is very low quality and the characters are nothing more than sex dolls with no purpose for existing other than having sex. I can see some people's interest in this kind of "express" game, but with so much high quality stuff out there i dont see why you would play this instead.

Fantasy theme is really fit with visual appearance of this game. You can free roam and choose what is want to do and with which character. Animations are smooth and hot. There are enourmus amount of character in this game and and you can seduce them. Usually I don't like incest but in this game it worked for me as well. Maybe the fantasy kingdom environment was the cause.

now i am talking about the DARK MAGIC by F LORD and i just wanna say this game is f**king awesome i never played game like this before i really liked the story .... the game developer did really hard work for developing this game i cant explain in words how much its good so better to give it just one try you will find out why i am saying this game is comparable . thanks F LORD sir

I'm not entirly sure why this game is rated so highly. I played for about 3 hours, so my review may just cover the early release, and the modern additions are better.

mechanics:

The mechanics of the game are clunky. The navigation system gave me a mild headache and was the primary reason for retiring.

Graphics:

Compared to modern releases the render quality was lacking.

Corruption:

As a fan of the corruption genre, the level of corruption was limited.

Random text drops: the fapabbility

The one thing that will kill any game for me is when I have zero controll over sex scenes or story dialogue. For example, if I am grinding for money using the money grind mechanic and all of a sudden there is a half hour backstory drop I lose intrest. I'm playing to be in control.

In a porn game you need to be able to predict the duration and timing of the porn, otherwise the game will be unfappable.

Nice renders, quality animations, and a pretty decent amount of content. Story is OK, not bad, but nothing super memorable so far. I required a walkthrough at times to continue the story. Could use some quality of life improvements (ie. being able to buy more than 1 consumable item at a time).

Overall it's pretty good, definitely worth the time investment to complete the content so far.

Good Points
+ We have a well-written interesting main story and well-written side story events with girls/women.
+ We have very beautiful and sexy women/girl characters.
+ We have animations for sex scenes and they have well-made physics.

Bad Points
- Render and animation quality needs to improve, we are in 2022, and this game still getting updates even after 4 years but there is not enough improvement enough. While I like the game render/animation style I do believe it needs quality improvement for sure. Yes 4 years ago they were looking good, but now they look bad and old.
- After too many years of developing time it's still not completed, we still didn't get enough content for the main story, and it's annoying...
- Especially with the latest 3-4 updates the game started feeling boring.
- This is a sandbox game and while at first, you do feel like you can choose what you want like choosing when you wanna have a scene with someone or not have with the ones you don't like that's not true. Especially with v0.16.0, you are forced to have content with a couple of girls for progressing story, which is total nonsense for a sandbox game like this to not give you a change to choice girls you can have in your harem or have which girls as your girlfriends.

4 years ago this was a pretty good game but with time passing and DEV not improving his game visually and even not adding the most important features sandbox should have like choices giving you the option to avoid some girls etc did number on this game. This game should have ended 2 years ago or DEV should have improved his game more to reach today's standards but both of them have not happened and sadly this game is not a good game anymore...

i just love this game 10/10.
the story, the graphics, the characters, the humor. Excellent.
And the tasks/missions are easy to follow.
just to bad that there are so few games of this kind of quality And caliber.
I highly recommend this game to anyone old or new.

Great art, visual design, and has the elements of a great game except writing. The story is dull and there doesn't seem to be much going on. At this point it's basically a cg gallery that you have to grind for. The weak writing means there's not much of a sense of roleplay or immersion. It's just a bunch of attractive porn pics.

It's also not obvious sometimes how to progress the game, best to cheat.

One of the best Honey Select games I have played, characters are well designed, good proportions, has a story, has lots of content as of v0.8.1. Wish we could get more information on how they were able to concieve. Lots of characters. Hope to see the oppurtunity for pegnancies in the future

This game has a huge number of admirable qualities and only a small handful of flaws, it is kind of surprising that it is not more famous.

Gameplay:
Your standard sisterfucker simulator. You go around areas at times and click on people to make events happen. As far as I can tell there are no obnoxious minigames nor time limited scenes that you can miss. There is a built-in hint system that varies in quality from telling you exactly what you need to do to advance the story to a vague useless hint to absolutely no help at all on some quests. The hint system is mostly adequate in the early part of the game but seems to fizzle out later on, necessitating a trip or 10 to the search box on the forums to figure out how to unlock a scene. The grind level is pretty low. There's a bit of grind with the mom and the sister, but most of the side characters are jumping on your dick with just a handful of interactions, or the trigger that opens up their legs is unrelated to how much you talk to them. There is a corruption metric you have to increase on the girls, but it goes up pretty quick once you've unlocked a couple of levels of it. It's really only a drag with the mom and sister.

Graphics:
Honey Select models, with the boob slider turned up a bit too high on most of the girls. I don't know why all of the most interesting games use Honey Select. There is some variety in body shapes which is nice, but as is typical with Honey Select everybody varies in range from white to slightly less white, although this game does add purple, green, and blue skin tones.

Story:
The real strong suit and weakness of the game. While it's hard to really care about most any of the story, the dev knows this and doesn't waste your time with great walls of text to read. Also, it's just plain nuts. You're the only guy in the world and nobody seems to mind that much. You were in jail for vague reasons that nobody brings up again. You get magic powers that make people horny and kind of ditzy, but that's it. Not that it seems necessary since the women have a powerful thirst for your dick and it seems like maybe they should be thinking about having more babies? Also, your aunt is a pirate, but like an 18th century one that watches TV or something. Don't think too hard about the story is what I'm saying.

Sex content:
Do you like looking at boobs? Well you're in luck. This game is not shy with sex scenes either. There's an enormous quantity of content in here. I think the dev is spending a lot of time making new sex scenes instead of annoying minigames or writing Game of Thrones length dialogs about boring shit you couldn't care less about. Lots of animations too. Maybe the only complaint is that almost all of the sex content is pretty vanilla, if you're only into fetish stuff you might be disappointed.

Overall: I'm extremely happy with this game. The handful of flaws can't drag it down from the ocean of perks that make it a solid 5 star game. It has a ton of sexy content and almost no bullshit.

Highly entertaining and one of my favorites. For those that are interested, but not familiar with the style - this is a mega-harem and corruption type game. You will slowly (and at times not-so-slowly) bend the wills of the various characters to conform to your will.

The art style may not be for everyone (I was one of those at first) but it quickly grows on you and becomes much appreciated.

The story is pretty basic, but interesting enough to keep one's attention. The variety in sex and fetishes are enough to keep most entertained, I believe.


There is so much to this game, if you have not done so, give it a go. You can thank me later.

the model is super attractive than any games here, this is grindy but really rewarding too. The best part is you can play this for a really long time and still don't get bored about it. if you like good story + a bit grinding + hot big tits woman this is it

So many great points to game that the little flaws deserve to be overlooked.

Sure there a few errors in writing and not all renders are perfect. Sometimes things a little out of order but that is because the sandbox is so open (sometimes first meeting of characters come out of order because you meet them first in a different characters arc but it doesn't break order of story unfolding).

The story is intriguing and never quite sure exactly who are the bad guys and who are good guys and we still not met all characters and still in process of getting to know the plethora of current characters (again a lot of variety ranging from the serious to the comedic) . Each character is unique and develops in depth as you get to know them. The arcs are also varied, some you use powers on and some you have to win over other ways. Some are easy and some you really need to work to seduce.

A lot of character have the oversized boobs that I not a fan of but there's enough variety that us itty bitty titty lovers and everyone in between catered for. The animations are simple but with multiple camera angles and linking of these simple animations by menu choices into a complete scene worked really well.

There is a cheat option to avoid excessive grind though there is usually an arc that follows the money earning and skill development already to ease grind. If you don't want to use cheat I recommend using mining jst to get what you need (it takes multiple parts of day and means you miss the two periods most events happen in) until aunt arrives then get to fishing as quickly as possible (fishing only takes one period of time so can do when you would normally skip)

The interface is simple with a very handy magic notes that lets you know what arcs are active (though can be vague at times which is not a bad thing) character dialogues also let you know what to do and add a lot to story so best not to skip carelessly. You can also track the scene progress in game in your room with memory book. If you like me you might need to go to the memory book post in the forum to fill in holes but all major scenes are easy to find.

EDIT Oh and the "corruption' is unique and almost anti corruption. You don't change personalities you remove social conditioning and bolster natural desires so you actually just making them more honest with themselves and open with feelings for others (not just MC) one slight exception with methodology but result still same. The characters you would call corrupted start of that way.

The characters are fantastic, the story is a lot of fun. The sex scenes are inventive in that it isnt just a simply "oh hey MC dont mind me just looking under this bed here *insert generic doggy style scene*

There is thought put into the story arcs that are included in each update. typically 2-3 characters per. Which evolve into multiple stages of sexy fun.

I can't recommend this game enough! I hope he continues working on this game and gathers more support as this game is incredibly overlooked by a lot of people here.

Don't let the fantasy genre turn you away! There's plenty of 'family fun' to be had here, if that's what turns your crank.

Easily the most underrated Honey Select game on the site (theres quite a few good one that popped up this past year). The dev consistently pushes out large updates. The game has very little grind (it can be a bit of a hassle to get around). Most importantly the gameplay and scenarios are fun and unique. The story never overstays its welcome but still keeps you interested, striking the right balance between sex and story for a porn game. Great work!
