The graphic style is pretty strange, but the story is amazingly written, and the characters are absolutely consistent and diverse. The map is easily navigable, and the room labels are very convenient.

Probably the game I've found most difficult to rate so far. But after playing it, I have to say. There are probably 500 games with a better rating, but I can only vaguely remember them. The abstruse humor, the strange facial expressions and the very unique art style in general enhance the game immensely. The game walks a fine line between brilliant and garbage. In the end I give it 4 stars, it's definitely one of the best Incest games I've ever played.

Dark Neighborhood is an odd combination of weird, scary, creepy, gross and sometimes hilarious. And that's not a good combination for a porn game.

This game basically is about some guy who is forced to have sex with his family and later impregnate them because some demon is forcing him to do that. He very clearly doesn't want to do that, but evil demon will stole his soul if he doesn't succeed. That's already bad cuz that means there is no romance, no seduction, every relationship is forced and not natural. It's not really interesting to play a game when MC is forced to have sex. At one point he's even ready to chop off his dick, he's that desperate. But of course ultimately he's doing the thing with his family. There are some scary and creepy moments in the story, or at least they try to be scary and creepy. Many times it doesn't really work. There're also some gross moments (like farting in the face, bleh) and some more cheerful moments. It's like the dev wanted to put everything in the game, and we got this weird mix which just doesn't feel any good. And how the story actually ends, how was the last situation with the demon resolved? Who knows. Game literally tells you that you don't wanna know. Yay, that's a quality writing. Characters are pretty shallow and generic: a bit slutty mother, young and innocent little sister and bitchy older sister. Nothing interesting here.

Visual quality is also pretty weird. I thought it's typical DAZ game but supposedly thats not the case? Girls models look solid for the most part, but MC looks just bad. This is literally the worst looking MC i have ever saw in a porn game. And it doesn't help that the game many times show him up close, with his weird face, stupid hair and strange look on his face. Renders quality is not bad, but the camera angles, characters positions, their gestures and lighting are all very questionable. Animations are just basic two frame loops. So overall, sex scenes are pretty average, not really entertaining and not hot enough. Music is also weird...

Ultimately Dark Neighborhood is a pretty disappointing game with horrendous plot, bland characters and mediocre sex scenes. It's a 5 hours long game so at least it doesn't overstay its welcome. This was really a poor attempt, perfect example of a 2/5 game.

One of the best incest themed porn game ever made. It really does a good job at having all the incest friendly fetishes in one package, such as lactation and a MILF with a thicc motherly body and a proper mommy bush. The way the story handles the incestous acts is simply one of the best, if not the best, I've ever seen in the genre. Even better than the genre GOATS such as Dreams of Desire and Lust Epidemic. The incest themed writing in really good and the mother model is one of the hottest ever created. All this more than make up for the lack of animations. And it clearly takes place in the south of US, so is quite a realistic experience if you ask me, even with the demon stuff

Despite what people may say about this game being good, it really is not. Its now total rubbish either but saying its worth the play...meh...there are many many better games out there. Even for a game that started off in 2017 its models and gfx look horrible and animations are simply stills that don't even mesh well at all.

The story...starts off potentially interesting with a demon trying to influence the male protagonist in the game but nothing noteworthy comes from it. The MC runs around trying his damnedest to avoid sex with his family which is the norm, true but he has no issue doing other lewd stuff with his family...this just ends up like a blueballing mechanic that ends up with ridiculous things happening to the MC...and that I found drives the rating lower because the story just ends up spiraling out of control with very random and seemingly extreme scenearios happening...its like a child wrote the game story and the funny moments like the ass sniffing and sleep farting...whats with that? Why? If you want to see a good example of a funny fart scene play Being a DIK during the MCs hell week and campus security THAT is funny, not this...

TLDR: Hard pass, many many better games out there and this leaves me rather concerned about the devs new game Apocalust...but we will see

I don't understand the ratings, this is one of the greatest adult game i've ever played. Great and original art, great story, great content. And this game is pretty long too. To be honest i just wished some scene would be longer. Thanks.

A lot of things don't make sense in this game.

Visuals are meh, story is weird and inconsistent, ending is just baffling.

Why add random fart bits... Why..?

Animations would have been great although they are obviously harder to implement, a more consistent and relatable man character would have done wonders.

No one likes to play as a whiney good for nothing who magically gets the girls or at least they don't want it to be so obvious.

I also don't see the point of being able to move around the house when it serves such a limited purpose, might as well have been a linear story.

Funny game with good renders and easy-to-follow story.
I've enjoyed playing it very much since the introduction is not too long, so you dont get bored before even getting to the first sex scenes.

The renders are really good, characters have each their own body style which is great. You will find some pose and body parts a bit akward tho ! (dont wanna spoil more )

Overall I would have given 5/5 to the game until I reached the 80-90% mark of the game. I feel like the ending is quite messy and maybe rushed ?
There is a clear simple plot that drives the player for most of the game through different quests, leading to the many sex scenes. But towards the end of the game, it kinda feels like its just a mashup of all the harem scenes you can think of.
Don't expect your choices to have a real value in the game tho, story is very linear. The plot/main quest is the main reason for it I think, so no biggy, just be aware of it.

A little warning for those who are allergic to it : there is some NTR content in the game, but its totally avoidable !

The game is worth playing, and sex scenes are worth re-watching, since the renders are the best part of the game to me.

I’m going to start by saying I have no idea why I finished this, but I might as well review it.
Story- Supernatural horror almost exclusively incest focused linear VN. Uses a lot of what can only be described as dream logic with a lot of chaotic transitions.
Art- sometimes just plain weird renders that almost never look quite right
Subjective stuff- Incest is a core and unavoidable focus of the game, there’s not much else outside of that.
Mechanics- Straightforward VN
Bugs- I encountered 3 fulls stops in my play-through
Recommend playing- No, unless you’re really into horror incest then only maybe

I really enjoyed this game. The sandbox is a wee bit grindy but intuitive once you get the hang of the locations. Interesting art style with unique models and it’s a completed VN so there’s some closure to the haremcest. Would play again.

I have recently played this game and I have some mixed feelings. I sometimes dig it time I don't. The graphics look good. A good amount of content. A good plot. A great ambient soundtrack. but to me, the characters are bit much curvy. and it jumps straight to the sex. overall a very good game. good job developers.

I played this game a long time ago, and I recently re-played it, and thought "Ah I didn't review this game yet" - so here it is.

Pros:
- Graphics look great
- the curves look great
- The mother character (Needed a separate pro for her <3)
- Good amount of content
- Story will get a few laughs out of you due to the absurdity
- It doesn't wait around for too long before going into the sex.

Cons:
- The story is too absurd so the scenes don't have too much of an aspect of "feeling real"
- Some of the sex scenes could've used more scenes, poses and better dialogue.
The "demon" aspect of the story just wasn't good for me.

Summary:
The story is the weakpoint, if these models could've been paired with a better story, it would've been amazing.
I could only imagine a game with free roaming, where you could get by without that strong of a story, but with more scenes, more characters to work towards with this style (milfs <3) and without the demon aspect (maybe just the usual "wow my son has a big D" storyline + this style would be enough to get to the top)
I will mention though that this absurd and dark of a story/style is hard to forget, so while the absurdity is negative in terms of nutting, you will at least remember the models due to the sheer craziness.

Story (4/5): It is strange in certain point, but I think is one of the strongests points, it doesn't feel too forced, I really enjoyed the dialogs and stories of every character except one (I don't gonna say who, but the rest were really good)

Gameplay (3.5/5): It is really easy, and it is like a sandbox, I appreciate that I can explore the scenario (of course, only clicking)

Animations (4/5): I like the style, is like soft, and I appreciate the differents girl's body types, is great to have variety, the scenarios are beautiful and I think they are not the typical

Sex stuff (4/5): I really liked the scenes, positions, dialogs during sex and in certain times doesn't feel forced (just like other games when you talk with a random girl and just fuck her).

A one of a kind over the top comedy novel that keeps delivering without delay.

Long, hot, and utterly ridiculous scenes are intermixed with simple exploration that does it's job just fine and without becoming tedious.

The 21st century internet boards writing style is combined with quality art that's pushed just a bit into cartoon-y extremes, the carefully picked choice of music - it all leaves an impression that this dev knows exactly what he is doing.

Judging by the date of the first release, this has to be one of the pioneers of the adult VN industry. Therefore, I guess I could forgive the absence of animations and a pretty much linear gameplay.

The game has everything to deserve a star on the Adult VN Walk of Fame:

• a good plot, sure isn't unique as of now, but it is well-served and sure was a novelty back in the day (and nowadays as well)
• a great atmosphere that consists of decent writing (I'm saying decent because I'm not a native speaker, and IMO the text was good enough), feeling of absolute despair and a great ambient soundtrack
• some very good-looking female models

Considering that the game is very old, but contains some of my fav tags and does a great job implementing them, I'm willing to look past its drawbacks.

What the game lacks in polish (or writing quality) it makes up for in exuberance. Plus, the models are actually unique and interesting, which isn't something you can say about too many games on here. The developer clearly has some specific fetishes that feature WAY more heavily than others, just to keep in mind.

It's an older game. Right off the bat from the screenshots you can see that: the quality of the render is low, the women can have pretty ridiculous proportion, and the faces/hairdos (including your own) are quite bad. The h-scenes are okay. The writing can be quite funny at times. The story is inconsequential, just like the 'choices' you make in this game.

No, you can't take the game serious, the game doesn't either. Rather consider it as a parody of the whole incest genre with all its tropes. It's what Spaceballs is to Star Wars.
As someone who don't like humour in games I can assure youit isn't offending nor cringeworthy, but fits the game world very well.

The "Sandbox" (which I also don't like in general) is implemented flawlessly and very tolerable, without grinding nor too much looking around for the next story segment (guide helps tremendously if you lack patience).

Speaking of the story. Imagine this:
You constantly go from one super hot scene with the mother/sisters/neighbor to the next. NO pause, NO annoying/distracting side characters, NO uninteresting info dump.
And it gets only hotter, the farther the corruption of ALL (including the struggling MC) the characters goes.

Kudos to the dev and damn you for giving me a raging boner lasting for hours.
