Changelog & Release schedule.
What’s up, my awesome players! I’m back with the post you’ve all been waiting months for: the changelog and release schedule for the next
Darker update,
Part 7.
As I mentioned before, I initially thought this update would be short, but it ended up being just as substantial as the previous ones. Here’s what
Part 7 has to offer:
Highlights of Part 7:
- 520+ high-quality renders (including images and animation frames).
- 5 unique choices leading to 10 different paths.
- A complete audio experience, featuring music, sound effects, and NSFW audio.
- A skippable mini-game integrated with animations.
This update is more focused on branching paths rather than location variations. There are a staggering
10 different paths to explore—some are fully-fledged scenes with unique renders, while others are variations. To get the most out of this update, I highly recommend creating multiple save files.
Release Schedule:
We’ve been using the same release schedule for months now, and while it mostly works, some of you have expressed concerns about the long wait times and the complexity of the rollout. So, for this update, I’ve simplified things. If this approach works well, I might adopt it permanently and revise the tier system.
Instead of five separate release dates for different tiers, there will now be only
three:
- Soulless Tier ($50) / Immoral Tier ($25): January 25/26
- Corrupt Tier ($14.99) / Darkest Tier ($9.99): February 1
- Darker Tier ($4.99) / Dark Tier ($1.99): February 8
Three dates, spaced one week apart. While this schedule might impact finances negatively, I’m willing to experiment. If the results remain stable, I’ll consider simplifying the tier system further by removing extra tiers.
That’s all for now! I’ll see you guys soon with the update.
