Let's talk friend.
I want this to be a proper criticism on how to improve the game. You have a patreon set up. Which means you do kind of expect to take this project further, correct? Not some kind of a passion project of fucking around but rather something you make and perfect over time, right?
I don't want this to be mean or anything - just couple of thoughts on how to approach the project.
So let's go over few points:
1.
Fix your names.
If you think it's you protecting yourself from any potential infringement, it won't work. Because you're actually using visual representation of the characters already. You are using shots from the show itself as repurposed imagery for sexual content. You have many other games on the site with Naruto theme. None of them try to rename the characters. Thus no point in having scuffed names.
2.
Fix your texts
The game is absolute pain to go through. There's grammatical errors, punctuation errors, lower cases during the conversation starts. Combined with nonsensical texts. Hell, if you have nobody to do it for you, ask ChatGPT to help you.
3.
Make characters actually BE LIKE THEIR CHARACTERS
My man, what's the point of making a parody where you play as canon characters when none of them actually behave or talk like their counterparts. Dialogue needs serious amount of actual rework. It needs to be more interesting and able to catch people's attention, otherwise they will press CTRL and skip to sex scenes. Nobody likes playing shallow characters that don't fit into the world.
4.
DO NOT use different artstyles
Seriously. Combining different artstyles is a horrendous idea. When you do that, you basically break the visuals. During storytelling segments you have visuals that are from show. Others are some random images you googled. Backgrounds don't patch. Some imagery is blurry. Some is unfinished. Some is obviously someone else's artwork. Artstyles for the sex scenes don't match either. Sit down, rework your game. It will take longer time, sure.
However, in long run it's better to have quality in presentable game rather than something that looks like teenager's fanfiction slideshow.
5.
Scrap the entire goddamn story
It makes zero sense. It leads nowhere. It isn't pleasant to read through and justify bullshit because of a porn plot. Everything is way too convenient, characters suddenly adapt to the world very quickly and nothing aactually feels real.
Want to do an isekai story? Sure.
Have it so they are actually transported into the new world. Have it be a strange fever dreamcause by a jutsu or whatever.
Distinction being - they have trouble adapting to a new world. They are lost, they struggle and they have clear goal in mind.
In terms of Naruto - his goal being that he can potentially at times sense presence of the people who got transported to the world.
Thus making it his goal to find them. Adapt together and romance.
Alternatively, why even bother with an Isekai-like storyline? Center it around the world that they're in. This way, you have waaaaaaaaay more content to work with, way more characters, way more plotlines. Way more visuals too. Because you wouldnt need to adapt modern imagery to Naruto style.
6.
Rethink your goals and story
Stop for a moment. Open up google docs or word or whatever you use to write. For few days sit and actually think how your game is meant to develop. What is the end goal, what are the branching paths, what kind of a game do you want to make. Plan out how NSFW scenes are going to work, how fast you're going to develop the story and rethink
why certain scenes actually happen.
More so when it's serious scenes like with bestiality. Those kinds of scenes have serious consequences, serious effect on the characters and they're usually reserved as fetish content for later into the game. Unless that kind of content is focus of the game. Don't get me wrong, content like that is exceptionally rare but...yeah, not if presented like this.
7.
Scrap all the visuals
I respect the fact that you have a drive to make content. You wanna make content. But the image inconsistency ends up hurting your project. Youll have people who won't touch your game because it has inconsistent art and looks scuffed. The images are half other people's works, half is likely you re-drawing parts of it. That won't fly.
To this issue, I want to present you an alternative. Much harder but will pay off in long run.
Use DAZ or Blender. There are 3D models for pretty much majority of characters. Pose base scenes. Base sexual positions, scenes etc.
Render the image. Then open it in photoshop and draw lineart and details of what you rendered. Color it, shade it andstylize it. Congratulations, you made custom piece of art.
Let me show you for example this piece of art. It's actually 3D models posed, then redrawn with artists own style.
You can do the same too. It's one of the better alternatives beyond just straight up learning how to draw in your own style.
I hope this helps a bit to understand what goes into game development and try to improve your game, otherwise I'm afraid you'd be stuck in a purgatory as you add more and more content, despite the base of the game being severely flawed.
Good luck and thank you for reading!
