At this point I understand that Aaron is a character who has stood out positively among fans of the work, but it wouldn't make sense for him to receive more spotlight than the supposed MC, David (Because the story is about him and Alice, though). Many people don't like David because he is a character who, since the beginning of the story, hasn't shown any bold development or had certain attitudes that spiced up the story. So to keep the two characters even, Daval will have to develop this character better, otherwise he will end up losing the leading role to Aaron. Even Peter showed he had more protagonism and presence in the work than the boy, perhaps the old man himself is the key to developing this character, since his role from now on is to advise the younger ones on what they have to do to get what they want in the future.
