I tried to add some 'catchlights' in post to mcmania's render (not my strong suit, for sure), but after uploading the new image to Imgur, they were weakened a lot by Imgur's compression, but ,imo, I think the girl with catchlights in her eyes looks more alive:Hi guys,
This is the second take on my last render. I took into account all what you said (You must be registered to see the links,You must be registered to see the links,You must be registered to see the links,You must be registered to see the links,You must be registered to see the links) and also things that I come by myself .
So here is the "change log":
- I added a ghost light just behind her
- I corrected the bending of the leg
- I lowered her on the bed
- I added dispalcement maps (random noises map) to give a wholly effect (and therefore less plastic/concrete effect) on the bed cover sheet and to add thickness to her shirt --> richer shadows
- I changed slightly the camera height and angle
- I added a DOF effect to detach her from the background
So, if you can take time and make comments on this one.
Thank you in advance....

I don't use catchlights in postwork at all, I just render them in scene. A couple artists have really nice eye shaders (Raiya for genesis 3, Tempesta3d for Genesis 8) that come with their own catchlights and render quite nicely. There is alsoLook at that. About the comment. I totally agree with epw14 about the catchlights in her eyes. There are different ways to achieve those. I don't know if you are using a pen+tablet or a mouse as your main tool for postwork. If you use a mouse, the easiest way would be, to copy a real catchlights from a photography and blend them into the eyes, where they are needed. If you can draw them by hand, I would use a mathod that looks similar to, what I think epw14 has done. Whiten a single pixel in each eye and then blur it out with a blur brush. After that I woul use the dodge tool and would draw a fine line on the bottom rim of the eyeball as well as some light usage of the dodge tool on the whole white parts of each eye. But be careful with the latter part.
There are several other, more advanced, techniques for doing catchlights, but those are the two, I've learned as a beginner in postwork.

There is alsoYou must be registered to see the links, which has 20 eye reflections. It just seems like a lot of work to make a catchlight every time, but I'm also making a game so I needed a quicker method.

Holy moly, which model and skin is that?
The shortest woman is a beauty. Are you making a game with these models or art only? Great work nontheless.I went back to working on the cheerleader. Think I'm fairly happy with these three for now.

I just moved the camera and turned her head, the rest is basic-but the picture looks quite different
