Good luck, i would advise using the fstop, shutterspeed, and film iso. Leave the exposure value alone. By the look of your renders though I have a feeling you already knew that.Need to play more with tone mapping...
Lately I have been using the surface tool and emissive shaders to turn geometry lamps into actual light sources, then I play with the environment intensity, surface settings, and tone mapping. Your diffused lighting looks great btw. I have been having lots of issues with it in my renders slowing them down so much that I am often forced to leave them out or replace them with an actual light.
