daz is just a tool
While it comes with a lot of easy to use features it is still a lot in the hands of the user what he or she creates with it At the end it's just practice, practice, practice and how much time you invest in your renders. If you just create a single still image it might be feasible to invest several hours setting it up, rendering it in 4k and doing lots of postwork in an image editing software to create the best image possible. That's one of the reasons why many images posted in this thread might look better than the average render taken from a game (which has a lot more individual renders).
