A few years ago a friend of mine approached me after learning that I was doing 3D eroticism (read: Porn ;))
She talked me into promising her that I would create a comics, based off of one of her fantasies/ideas, at some point in the future. Looks like the future has caught up with me as she has become more insistent over the past year and I have caved to her request.
The caveat is of course that the comic will be made in between my work on my own projects. She accepted those terms too readily ... I think. Alas here I am, seeking some input on the lighting of a particular scene.

These are divided into a "lowlight" version and a "highlight" version. Which simply means an increase in luminosity. The increase of luminosity is applied to the flames of a fireplace.
My question here is simple: Which version tickles your fancy the most and, if possible, why?

Low lighting:

High lighting:

Once again, low lighting:

Once again, high lighting:

I thank you for your time and any response to my questions.

Always the highlighted versions. They show detail & IMO there are too many 'twilight' renders around already.

Low-lit version looks better/more moody IMO (but my monitor is pretty bright)

High-lit version looks off somehow... maybe that it's oversaturated in orange lighting? Might look better if you tone down the fire light (maybe a compromise between the two versions), & add a bit of blue/cold lighting in the background for contrast. But I'm still a DAZ n00b so idk

Hope you're doing better bro! SotF is awesome :D

Definately prefer the low lighting although the other comment is true, better detail on the higher lighting. if she is sat in front of a fire why not increase the yellow a little?
