I cannot believe how good some artist are on here. Im trying myself too in Daz but even when i get okeish results i still have the feeling they look like soulless wax figures. I dont get the Spark in them somehow.

Well, i feel like that most of the time too. The only way to get better is keep on working and try to learn more and more. That doesn't apply to just daz though, it applies to everything in life.
Also ask yourself, what might went wrong in your renders, skin looks weird? Try to learn how to apply better textures on skin. Lighting looks weird? Try to learn better lighting styles and look how people light their scenes.
