It seems that people like this model better
well so do i lol
really pretty
So back to Normal rendering times
8min 40 seconds for this one...what the hell!?
compared to hours when working indoors with many complex lights
the RTX 2080 really flies when working with just HDRis!
The Iray viewport is blazing fast also and almost renders in real time when you move around.
Materials are pretty good, I would say professional user quality. Sadly you hit the uncanny valley pretty hard with the model.mission was to go for the most realistic, the most imperfect look

How do you mean this, if I can ask? Is this bad or good I don't really knowMaterials are pretty good, I would say professional user quality. Sadly you hit the uncanny valley pretty hard with the model.
Your materials are so good, that the perfect symetry of the face (model, not materials) is irritating.
The Human brain is hardwired to detect and interpret other human faces. A human has never perfect symmetry, so our brain will recognise it on a subconscious level.* Therefore, a perfect symetrical face is a dead give away for a cg image. Portrait Photographers have to deal with those imperfections on a daily basis. The german term "Schokoladenseite" (chocolade side), is a direct nod to the side of the face, that looks better on a camera, when placed in front of the picture. The most common irregularity are the eyes. Most people have slightly displaced eyes in height or different sizes. So the photographer pose the model on an angle, this way both eyes appear as the same size or on the same height on a photo. How do you mean this, if I can ask? Is this bad or good I don't really know

It is neither bad nor good. It is a thing to consider, when you try to create a convincing realistic person. There are other factor too, like the suspension of disbelieve i.e.
*Research for "Uncanny Valley" if you are interested in this part of photorealism.

And here I thought, the materials were modified/designed by the artist. But it doesn't change my standing. The Materials are convincing on a common level*. Convincing enough, that the flaws of the model start to stand out. They are professional user quality
The model and materials are sold at DAZ
You must be registered to see the links
But quality is awful. A lot of clone stamps on the nose part are too obvious
im not that advanced yet, but still took me like 2,3h to set up and 2h to render. but working on it. every professional tip it's precious to me but i feel like with each render i learn new stuffAnd here I thought, the materials were modified/designed by the artist. *Material designer may see it different, tanks to their expertise on this field.
There is a Photographer, who I adore. And his catchphrase is somethin I took to the heart. I don't want to disrespect to your work fella. I thought that you inspired from her. Here you go.I don't know what you talking about, it's a render i did. If you saw something similar, can you link me the picture please?
