You know the story. A ship is traversing one of the space lanes when it picks up a faint distress signal. It follows protocol and makes it's way to the signal. They find a derelict station and board it to look for survivors. They find nothing. Except for the newest member of the crew, a young alien woman who stumbles upon the specimen storage and accidently unleashes an alien creature that swiftly bonds with her.
