Sorry I can't help you with the VN, but I was wondering - what is the model used for the female in these renders? I really like her.

It's FN Alice Gen 9.
You have to be careful though, as her joints are awful.
Same with her chest, which goes all weird.
She's lovely, but so much hassle to at times.
The other issue I have with her is expressions.
Oh, and her bloody armpits are terrible as well.

But I love her, so struggle on!

Just make sure to keep an eye on the limb joints once you apply a pose.
They seem to snap to very extreme bends.
Mess with the skulls too, as the gap from the ear to eye is absurdly exaggerated for my liking.
Forearms also seem quite odd. I love the skin on them, though I'm not at a level to mess with skin.
That's an art in itself.

This is my first render for an upcoming VN. Would love to get feedback on what I could do better. My biggest learning curve right now is to get the lighting right. This lighting feels very soft compared to some other renders I see that have a deeper contrast. How would one go about that?

Some more renders I did on my old visual novel. I started this around 2021 I think, after my wife died to keep my mind occupied. Most of my old versions of these are from 2022... man, what a DIFFERENCE!! Hehe... not tooting my own horn, but I can see how much I have learned... plus my newer 3060 12G video card made a HUGE difference over my old 1050TI 4G! It's been a while since I looked at these, it's been kind of fun. Anyhow... this is two newer renders I did. I really loved how the couple scene turned out with totally new characters inside the motel. And the scene with the car driving up to the motel off in the distance is honestly one of my favourites...

Daz3D is telling you what is missing...

You need Victoria 7 and Evangeline installed properly. Make certain the "data" and "Runtime" folders were placed in the right spots.

They should be inside "Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\data" and "Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Runtime"
