I decided I wanted to do a little research on what my computer does while I'm working in Daz.
Just playin' around a little, see what I could come up with...

First things first, gotta set up the scene. that's not very taxing on anything:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Now, we simulate (it's only the hair, but it takes it a few minutes):
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Then, when that's all [kinda] finished (come on, are ANY of our renders truly 'finished'?), there's the 'pièce de résistance',
the render:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

The computer is the only thing plugged into this UPS.
Gigabyte Z690 w/12th gen core i9, 64GB ddr5
RTX 3080 ti 12GB, 2TB SSD
Everything else is plugged into a smaller one.

At one point, I tried to overclock, and the UPS literally shut my computer down because it was using too much power. That is an experience I never want to repeat, since it cost me most of a day's work on that mistake. I save a lot more than once or twice a day anymore because of that one. A lot more!

I came across the fact that if a clothing model is complex and consists of several parts, then when simulating in Marvel it falls apart, but this does not happen with every clothing model. I can’t help here anymore, write to a "Marvel" thread.
Thanks friend, it has helped me a lot

Haha yeah running renders in DAZ has a tendency to run your PC through it's paces... My electricity bill went way up when I started to render. Definitely in the summer when the PC is heating up the place like an oven and my AC is trying to cool down the place lol.
