I tried to create toon/semitooon universal shader.
Universal shader means that different textures give the same style and characters are from the same story. I do not like renders where characters seems to be from diffeent stories.
Moreover I worked with very crappy laptop and had to avoid transluency, subsurface, high roughtness (glossy/specular) etc. I was satisfied with effects - sample below light haur and skin + dark hair and skin:
With better processor I need not to care about transluency and sss and try to obtain more transluent "wax like" shader. I found it much more universal and flexible differnt textures fit each other. Below sample of the same characters with another shader:
