SPERM DONORS
Harvey regarded his wife as the smartest woman in their office.
Mr Rogers himself had told Harvey, on numerous occasions, how he considered Harvey as "dead wood"
only "kept afloat" by Alice, his incredible wife.
So it made sense it would be down to Harvey, when she was caught "appropriating funds" from the company.
Obviously, Mr Rogers felt betrayed, gobsmacked even, as we all were.
But, there would be no police involved.
No contacting solicitors.
This would be sorted "in house".
So as not to cause concern for their numerous clients ,who'd entrusted their livelihoods with the company for decades.
But, Rogers was not going to allow Alice to get away with this.
Harvey couldn't believe how the one time he'd actually noticed something "suspicious", it would incriminate his own wife.
Rogers was quite aware of Alice and Harvey's issues with starting a family.
They'd been a few snarky comments made about Harvey's less than adequate sperm count.
Harvey's father had a reputation for fathering numerous illegitimate offspring.
Whereas Harvey would have been pleased with just one.
To share with the love of his life, Alice.
