The downsides of working with not calibrated displays - my original renders looked quite a lot darker, which is what I had wanted to deliver. Here on my "doing-stuff-on-the-interwebs"-machine, I discover, things are a lot more visible than planned.
I hope you like the renders nonetheless.
Not sure if you guys like what is told behind the pictures ...;)

Sleep well?

My original renders were done in 7900x4444 ".png", denoised with Taosoft, then scaled down to FullHD for posting here.
Renders originally are about 10 to 40 MB each, depending on how detailed it is.
The scene itself is rather "kit-bashed", as I like to do, so there are props from multiple sources. The room itself does only exist on DAZ primitive planes for walls, ceilings and ground, except for (obviously) the window.

excessive rendering in a myriad of different angles. I can't help myself, even if my life depended on not doing so...

That's the last pair of these I am posting for now, can't bring myself to working on subsequent scenes atm.
Primarily I wanted to play with lighting, ghostlights and luminosity within a non luminous texture, such as the moon for this scene.
I achieved what I had in mind, but don't you ask about what time it took. You know very vell how THAT goes :geek:

nice girl! like her shape and her bikini :3 its a character of a VN you're working on? which are the tags? (with such a hottie i hope for NTR, voyeurism, cheating, corruption and maybe some nasty old guy having some naughty fun with her or being a gentle man who appreciates a lovely shaped female like her) if not and its a ordinary harem one or couple-simulator VN then still good luck for your game just not for me personally.

cam girl or onlyfans girl or both? xD but good catch with the outfit!
Could be my girlfriend or wife... but you rather go for the obvious...
Nevertheless, the point was to show the skill. The shot from where I took the facial details has a lot more similarity. This goes to say that it was entirelly "manually" done, without Face Transfer software... just a few hours and a lot of patience.

you're a funny one! :ROFLMAO: just take care to not be too obsessed and give a woman who doesn't even know you unnecessary amounts of money. and by the way i also reacted to the outfit which looks nearly identical!

Would anyone be able to provide some some general advice based on this render?
I'm a bit stuck on how to further improve my renders.

I generally use 3 point lighting, HDRI and some environmental lighting. Then, I'll do some basic editing and color correction in photoshop as seen here.

Hi there! First of all the render is great as it stands, the only thing I might change if I'd want to make the render look more natural is this:

If this is a day scene: I'd try to locate my characters near a window and try to shine some ''natural light'' into the room using a good HDRI dome or even a ghost light to emit a slight yellowy light. Maybe play around with some godrays if it's early morning. But those can be an hassle to setup.

If this is a night scene: Usually at night, not every lights are on in the house and that creates a lot of shadows. I'd turn off some lights and concentrate the light emission on the characters. Maybe one or two weak lights on way off in the background if possible. Also at night I like to taint the light a bit dark blueish, makes the characters pop off in my opinion.

Now that being said, your render is great as it is, these changes are only what I'd do in my humble opinion. Don't be afraid to experiment, you might stumble onto something you really like!

Happy rendering my friend!

Have a great time rendering!
