What's this aversion that game developers and DAZ users in general have to presenting their models

Most pubic hair in Daz doesn't work well with clothing which means more turning it on and off, also some people don't like the look of some of the hair types (I use two different assets, one looks more like real hair the other has more trim shapes). That's mostly my opinion, but I know one game developer used pubic hair on a model and forgot to turn it back on in a couple renders so the character had magic disappearing/reappearing pubes (they tried saying it represented shaving and not shaving at different times, but in game only a day had passed, not much time to grow a new bush).
Outside the technical issues some people prefer no pubic hair, it's popular to be shaven in live action porn and I imagine many in games and 3D art have similar tastes. The vast majority of mine have hair, but other people like vary quite a bit in tastes.
