i have a seriously high number at the moment.. oh well guess i'll set the convergence to 99% and just wait for Daz to do it's thing lol.. stop it when it's actually done. thanks man

The front passenger window doesn't have dots though only the rear passenger window in the screenshot

To me it seems it's a very dark scene And it could be issues with Daz Have you tried upping the nominal luminance to like 0.1

It's difficult to say judging by that sample. Check that you have the firefly filter enabled under render settings. I would also try disabling the caustics sampler if it is ON. In my experience, it has a tendency to make fireflies more prominent in different scenarios. Other than that, using a denoiser, controlling the global illumination of the scene and rendering many hundreds of iterations are the usual measures against unwanted noise.

Ok i have found the problem - it was the interior light of the car for some reason it was causing some lighting issues with my existing lighting. once i turned it off all the dots were gone

If you are referring to the panel on the opposite door, try turning down the bump and/or displacement for that panel
