Played the game and i truly am sad that it may come to an end here, liked the game a lot, Hope HotTomato is okay and truly hoping for the best. Very powerful send off from Ruykiru hope everything goes well for you in you're own game and I personally wouldn't be mad at a continuation (or even just a fast completion of the story given the circumstances) if HotTomato just never shows up again, but again hoping that they are alright...

I was gonna throw a bunch very bad insults at you after reading so much bullshit but I came to the conclusion that it just isn't worth it. You're learning to use it I suppose, but anyway, good luck, I won't waste my time on this novel anymore, I had hopes that it would come out and I didn't like what came out, luckily it's not the only one I follow and there are better ones, so good luck, but a piece of advice, stop fighting and reach a consensus, if there are people who don't like what you did well, find a way later to make them happy, but getting into an argument here with people because they didn't like what you did, is like fighting with a glass, either you like what I do or I insult you. By the way, can someone test and tell me if the animations in 0.9 are not playing, not just for this last version but for all the previous H-Scenes from other updates and some of the action ones too. Am I actually fucking stupid and released it like this?!! Please tell me it's not a global issue, I can't be this retarded...
But I did update renpy, maybe something broke...

some of the animations are not working for me. the scissoring scene for example, but some are so am not sure it's not just a me issue

Fair, because I didn't have most of the original project files. But what about the animations? Do they actually play as a video file like this below?
Not just in the 0.9 lesb scenes, but any of the older H-Scenes that had them?

So let me get this straight, people are complaining about someone else involved in the game, but remotely ... releasing whatever scraps were left and available and filling some blanks .... because he did not make it as kosher and optional that the original MIA dev used to do ? Don't get me wrong it would be a potentially fair demand and reaction, if not for the rather vitriolic way it's happening.

Yeah you're getting option-less bits, but unless you think the "new dev" a liar, that's what there was left. Unless one, or even some of you, with enough passion and skills wanna get involved to "fix it", scraps are what you get.

Changelog 0.9.1:
- Fixed animation playback due to an error in recent renpy versions. Video animations in 0.9 and previous scenes should play correctly now.

After reading the latest review, all I can say is.. you can't "watch" manga. You can read it, you can watch anime though, but I really don't think someone who doesn't know the difference should make claims about manga style actions.

Thank you for all the work you did and even fixing the animation bug, people have had a chip on their shoulder about this VN for a long time, so I'm not surprised they are ungrateful and lashing out at you for providing what little was left, but in any case you have my thanks.

I guess the loud minority of haters are the best at spreading misinformation. I mean, it's kinda expected of people whose only purpose is to spread the most toxic shit there is. Man, for all I know the actual dev is dead. I don't really want to get mad here, but it's like you insensitive bastards are fucking trying really REALLY hard.

Well in your game that is understandable, since you have this so it's a good thing, people know what to expect and I would even defend you there in that thread but here in this game, this is not kinetic novel, this is a game and there is a choice.

What part of the dev is gone, and I turned the last part into a kinetic novel with what I consider canon choices to make it easier for me to at least give it an ending if I ever decided to do so, did you not understand in the disclaimers?

Also if you play the game again and pay attention, you might notice that even if the lesbian or Elisabeth flashback cheating scenes are not shown if you don't pick them, they are clearly implied to still happen or the story and sexual tension kinda makes no sense... I always saw the choices in DMS as a compromise to give the illusion of choice (except the ones that actually lead to game over scenes I guess), but making a non kinetic novel is hard and way more time consuming so not even HotTomato could tie all loose ends.

Rev 9 was published as incomplete - and Clearly denoted as such.

This means that Hot Tomato did not finish everything for this rev.

Have you considered that the optional triggers for lesbian content, like the missing MC/Elizabeth sexy time, are among the things that were not done before the dev went missing?

Ruykiru tried to give us some kind of coherent ending, based on the renders he had access to - also Clearly stated.

He did not have to post what was available for rev 9.

He did not have to try to give Deadmoon Survival a coherent ending using the content he Did have access to.

He is not making Any $ from the time he spent doing all this - he has his own AVN to work on.

I continue to hear Loud complaints from some who think he did not do enough for their free stuff... like take additional time to add in an optional switch for the lesbian content AND write a second coherent ending for Deadmoon Survival.

If you and others feel This strongly about the missing optional switch for lesbian content, mod it in yourselves.

You can also have the modder add in a second coherent ending since you are effectively ending the story before the ultimate Elizabeth/Juliet encounter.

Either find a modder with the skills to do it, and the willingness to do it for free, or pay for it.

Problem solved...

I'll wait for this mod to show up on page 1...
